----------Garou's Pov----------
He looked at you to see your normal expression while sleeping fade away into one where you gritted your teeth. You had tossed and turned him awake, he tapped your shoulder so you would wake up. You jolted up panting sweat soaking your face as your eyes shot open. Garou hugged you to him, and you eventually had calmed down. "What an awful nightmare..." You whispered, Garou asked "what made you so scared, Sunshine?.. Horror movies don't even bother you, so what could be worse." You said "when I was a kid, Garou, I had to take these pills because I was an illusive dreamer, those pills haunt me to even think that if I kept taking them, I wouldn't be able to go to sleep without them!... I was on the bridge of caving in with those sleeping pills, until Armoured Gorilla showed up and slapped it away... Ugh how I hate any type of pills nowadays!" Garou said "quite a troublesome memory... Sunshine, don't worry about what happened back then, your fine now!" He pulled you back down to sleep in the spoon position. You sighed "I'm still a little worried... But fine my Wild Man..." Garou shook his head softly 'Wild Man, huh? Guess that's my new name now that she calls me that all the time... Eh, I call her Sunshine, so I guess it's fair game...' He looked down at your now closed eyes and cuddled you even closer to him. When he woke up you were in the kitchen fixing some oatmeal. He spoke "don't you fix a lot of American food?" You nodded "sorry Garou, but that was how I was raised to have an appetite for!" He laughed, but noticed you had said his real name, and slung and arm across you "are you alright Sunshine?" The Girl shook a little under him "I couldn't get back to sleep... I'm really tired, sorry to bother you Garou-san!" You laid your head on his chest while standing up cooking for something to lean on, you were a bit dizzy. Garou said "easy Girlie, you are really worrisome!" He picked you up and laid you on the couch gently, then went to fix the oatmeal. You slurred "Garou why'd ya do thay! I fine!" He called back "this is for the best Girlie! Now get to sleep! I ain't challenging you in cooking right now!" (My sister after 1 day without sleep, because she never sleeps very well) You sighed and managed to nod off to unconsciousness. When Garou was done he looked over to see his girlfriend already asleep as he told her, he thought to himself 'she hasn't been eating much this week, I wonder if she is getting sick?' He felt your head, but it was fine, there were dark circles under your eyes as he stood there. You slowly lifted your eyelids up to groggily stare into Garou's eyes. He said "you should eat first Sunshine." You nodded quietly, leaning against his shoulder and ate slowly. You brought your bowl to the kitchen when you were done.
----------N/A's Pov----------
When you were about to return a sickening dizzying spell was cast on you. You nearly toppled over, good thing Garou's reflexes were sharp even with his back turned towards you. He caught you and said "okay N/A, I think we need to get you examined in the hospital!" You tried to be reluctant, but Garou had already brought you there. Seeing a specialist about what was going on, Garou sat beside you. You being barely awake only had an idea of what was happening. The Doctor looked at you, and you saw the words from how his mouth shaped 'this reaction is from being born a mix, your body and mind are unstable, you can either wear a special designed necklace to stabilize you and wear it forever, or take some medicine..." You jumped in your seat at the mouthed word medicine. Garou held you, and you began to calm down "I will take the necklace..." The Doctor nodded, a little scared of you now, but handed it to Garou "there you go." Garou said "be careful I'm the Human Monster." The man backed away and you two left. You reluctantly put it on and looked over to Garou "thanks Garou..." Garou patted your head "it's fine Girlie!" You looked at him with a tired expression, not bothering to get mad at him and use up the rest of your energy "your only a year older than me you idiot. I don't care about height, or weight, I usually act more mature than you anyway..." He patted you on the back and laughed "okay, okay, you don't want to use up all your energy!" He picked you up bridal style and left the room, jumping from building to building like the two of you had done together when you were bored. It really felt like an luxury to have more wind on your face in this Summer heat. It was a bit different now that you were in his arms, you looked up to see his rare childish expression of no worries. You smiled to yourself, he'd been stressed far to much lately along with you, you sighed "it feels great to finally relax, ain't that right Wild Man!" You'd gained some energy, he looked down at you and chuckled "yeah... Also when did you get back to normal?" You said "from looking at you Child! You actually relaxed for the first time in a while!" He shook his head as if you were speaking crazy. You laughed "I love you too!" He said quietly "love you..." Finally opening up like he used to do. You hugged him happily, not caring a bit if the heat made you burn up even more from Garou's chest. You were colder as always, warmer natured than Garou, so you thought 'it should help him then...' Garou said "okay okay, quit! I'm burning you up, look at your cheeks, they're pink." He punched your cheek and you let out a childish whine "nuu! Your finally cooling down!" He sighed and said "I am fine Sunshine, so you can let go!" You said "but what if I don't want to?" He snorted "then do it for health wise!" The two of you broke into a fit of laughter. Geno's who had been shopping with his Master called from down the alley "hey N/A, Garou!" Garou jumped down, and looked at Genos with a little annoyance "what Genos?" He asked, the two weren't exactly friends. Geno's looked at the position you both were in, you stood beside Garou, holding his arm as it went into his pockets. "Are you two lovers?" You said "we have been for a while Genos!" Saitama said "congrats, N/A what is with the necklace? It's glowing a little." You spoke "well the doctors prescribed for me to wear it for the rest of my life! I honestly don't know anything more about it!" Genos said "there is tremendous amount of power in it... " Saitama waved "it was nice meeting you guys again, I thought that old man stole you two!" He cracked a smile and left. You waved, Garou said "ready to go now Sunshine?" You nodded and headed home.
----------Garou's Pov----------
Since you were still a bit disoriented, you didn't notice someone following the two of you. But Garou did, and pulled you another direction from the house. You looked at him "are we being followed?" He nodded, you sighed "why do they come at the worst times...." He said "just take care of yourself N/A, and be on gaurd." You nodded, putting your head on his shoulder to look like you two were having a normal conversation. A kunai shot out, and you ducked, too tired to catch it and throw it back at Speed Of Sound Sonic. Speed O Sound Sonic jumped down "damn! I thought I had you for a minute there!" Garou glared at him "remember what I said Sonic, I won't hesitate to put you through hell and back... So don't touch Sunshine." You just wearily watched as Sonic barely made a hit on Garou as he was pummeled down by Garou's fists. Garou softened as he looked back at you, you sure we're out of it. 'Okay Sunshine, I'm sorry for being so slow....' He slung your arm over his shoulder and walked you to the house. You fell asleep on Garou's lap as soon as the two of you sat on the couch. He laughed quietly, looking at the scene of your wild hair and your tired self. 'I swear you are to cute sometimes, I ain't going to say it to you though!' You nested your head as close to him as you could get, an arm around his hip and sighed happily. He just shook his head, now he knew that no matter what happened you would always stick beside him. You would always solve the problems together, and one day, you might even get married, and have kids. But that was far away from then, but all he knew was that he was happy as long as the sleeping girl on his lap was with him. He loved you dearly, you had created a side he never knew he had... And he would only show it to you. It truly was a very happy ending!
