Zayn is holding the arm of the jerk who was about to hit my brother.
"Oh and what, your sticking up for this loser. Come on Zayn, you cooler than this." By now im up and in the crowd who are impatiently waiting for a fight to happen.
"Leave him alone. Im only gonna say it this one time. Now go read a book or something, it could be really good for that empty brain of yours." And as if nothing just happened the idiots walked away.
"Miller, are you okay?" I could tell he was upset. I would have been pretty upset if this happened to me to though.
"I'm fine." He smiled and walked away. How could he just smile like that, weird.
"Thanks for doing that Zayn, I don't know what i would have done."
"Hey it's no trouble. I can't let the girl i like brother get hurt." He smiled at me and walked away.
Why the hell is everyone smiling at me today, its weird. Wait did he just say that he liked me?
Whatever that doesn't matter right now i have to find Miller. When i find him he is talking to one of his teachers.
"Hey Miller. Mr. Johnson." He nodded my way and walked back into his classroom.
"I already know what you're about to say, please don't."
"Miller what was that back there. Who were those guys?"
"Nothing April just drop it."
"Mom won't think it's nothing Miller."
"No you can't tell mom, she already called me like five times. I told her everything is going great. I know about her depression."
"What? How?"
"I caught her trying to throw her medicine away."
"What! Never mind that, if you really don't want me to say anything then i won't. But just know you can talk to me, okay."
"Sure whatever. I'll see you later."
Time for chemistry. I walk in to see that Zayn is already sitting down at our table. When i walk over he smiles at me and i smile back. Mr. Smith Tells the class that instead of doing anything fun that we would be watching a video, and taking notes. Halfway through the video Zayn turns to me and says
"Hey April, there's this party tonight you should come with me. I think it would be fun, oh and you can bring Miller. People should see he's a really cool guy you know, and..." i cut him off before he could finish rambling.
"Yeah, i'll go. And i'll bring Miller too." i smile at him and he blushes turning so that he could try and hide his red cheeks. Which i thought was completely adorable.
After school i go out to my car to see that Miler is sitting on the hood waiting for me.
"Get your ass off my car."
"Oh haha, can we leave now?"
"No, well i mean yeah. But I'm taking you to a party."
"What? No i'm not going."
"Oh come on Mil, how else are you gonna get the full high school experience? Please? For me?" I started giving him the puppy dog eyes. Which is one thing he could never resist growing up.. For what seemed like forever he finally gave in.
"Fine, but i swear when i say were leaving."
"Yes sir." i salute him and start driving.
We get home and i tell my mom that we're going out. I go up to my room to get ready. When i get to my room i go to my closet and pick out my clothes. After tearing apart my room i finally decided on what i was going to wear. A dark floral dress that stopped halfway down my thighs, so it wasn't to short or too long. A light washed denim jacket, a beige looking scarf, and brown boots. I wanted to look casual but cute.
