"Oh hello there Saiki! And Y/n?"
"I thought it would be nice if she tagged along."
"Hey Teruhashi I Hope I'm not intruding on anything." You rubbed the back of your neck in nervousness.
—Yes you're intruding on me and Saiki's date!Now I have to say something so she doesn't feel left out. Teruhashi then spoke kind words, "Of course you're always welcomed! Don't be so nervous the more the merrier right."
Your thoughts said something else but I guess she's not really talking down on Y/n.
—Wow Teruhashi is so nice!
"Well since we're here let's go look for a place where we can have tea."
I would beg to differ but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Now I want coffee jelly.
We walked to the cafe and it was closed. "Oh no it looks like it's closed but that's alright there's a shopping mall right here so let's go get something to eat."
"Sounds good." Y/n said. I only nodded my head. As we walked through the mall there were no food places and we've passed a lot of tatami mat stores. I looked over to Y/n as she walked next to me and she was giggling. I decided to be nosy and I realized she was texting Kuboyasu. I might've broken a cell tower out of jealousy.
"Aw man my service went out." Y/n whined.
"I'm sure you'll get it back when you go home." I was so distracted by Y/n I didn't realize Teruhashi calling me.
"Saiki?"
"Sorry I wasn't paying attention I was talking to Y/n."
—Ugh how dare he say something so ignorant to me and L/n keeps stealing Saiki away from me! I cannot let this happen!
Well she's not taking me away from you I just rather talk to Y/n than to you.
"Well these boys told me where we can find some tea so follow me."
More walking. Good grief. "Hey Saiki."
"Yes Y/n?"
"What's your favorite thing in the world?"
—I bet it's me the perfect pretty girl. Teruhashi thought with confidence.
"Well I have two things one of them is coffee jelly and the other is a girl that I've known for a while." I said looking straight at Y/n. She blushed and looked away.
—He can't mean L/n can he?! I mean he looked straight at her when he said that! Do I really have not chance to getting him to say oh wow to me?
Yeah there's no chance that's happening Teruhashi. I got my mind set on someone else... someone better. We reached the cafe and we began to order.
"Can we all get some tea please and I would like a small slice of strawberry cake."
"I would like a coffee jelly please and a slice of chocolate cake."
"Ooh can I get your chocolate lava cake and a small fruit tart."
The waitress wrote down our orders and soon came back with what we ordered. Other than small talk between the three of us nothing interesting happened. Then I used clairvoyance and looks like Teruhashi's brother is headed this way. Damn it! I stood up to indicate that we should leave but Teruhashi stopped me.
"Don't you want more cake Saiki?"
I immediately sat back down. It can wait a bit longer....
As I was about to sip more tea, my body decides that it wants me to cough up petals. Amazing timing. The author keeps moving the plot too fast and I don't have the time to react and now Teruhashi is shaking hand with a bunch of random men. I quickly get up and run to the bathroom and painfully throw up flower petals.
It's getting worse, there's more blood. Shit this hurts so bad. I quickly turn the front sign to it saying closed. After slowly flushing and toilet and washing my face and hands I head back towards the girls and sit back down. "Are you okay Saiki? You got up in a rush."
"Yes I'm fine I had the sudden urge to brush my teeth. I think I might have a fever coming on so I think it's best if I head home."
Y/n put her hand on my forehead and I used pyrokinesis to make my forehead warmer. "You're really burning up! I'll walk you home so you don't end up passing out on the road. Thank you for inviting us out Teruhashi but Kusuo and I are going to head back home."
"Oh alright, I hope you feel better Saiki."
—Come to think of it, I've never seen or even heard of Saiki getting a cold before. But other than that I think I've lost the race to Saiki. Does god not like me anymore? Teruhashi whined.
And getting Teruhashi off my back has been completed. "Thank you Y/n for walking with me back home. I really appreciate it."
