My eyes popped open. I sat up quickly, confused as to where I was. Immediately my head pounded to the beat of last night.
Jesus Christ ow.
I squinted my eyes around the room I was in. Post-it notes all over the walls... a grey couch with my clothes on it... light peaking through the blinds above me.
I was in Colby's room. In his shirt. Sleeping next to him.
Holy shit, last night was real.
I touched my own lips softly, glancing down at Colby's sleeping figure. His blanket was wrapped around his legs and his face was buried into his pillow. His nose twitched lightly as I looked at his face.
Damn. How the fuck does he still look hot while asleep?
My mind moved from him to the pounding in my head. I slid my legs out of bed and walked to his bathroom. I checked for any form of medicine to take for this hangover I felt. Nothing was there.
I sighed and left the bathroom, heading downstairs to see what I could find. As I approached the kitchen, my feet stuck to the hardwood floors, sticky from the alcohol last night.
No one was around as I stepped into the kitchen and grabbed a solo cup. Walking over to the fridge, I pulled out a jug of water and poured it into the cup. I gulped the water down quickly.
"Do you need these?" A voice asked, breaking the silence.
I jumped back, almost spitting out my water. I turned to see Kat, still in her outfit from last night, hair slightly disheveled, holding out a bottle of Excedrin.
"Uh... yeah. Thanks." I took the pill bottle from her hand and shook two out, taking them with the water.
"Is that... Colby's shirt?" She questioned, squinting at me.
"Yes." I deadpanned.
She smirked slyly. "Did you guys...?"
I swatted my hand at her. "Oh no. I just accidentally slept over. Colby gave me this shirt last night, so I wouldn't have to sleep in my dress."
"Okay."
"Where did you sleep?"
"Me and Sam kinda passed out on the couch last night after the party. He's still in there." She pointed to the room next to us.
I nodded my head. "Oh..."
Our silence grew, and I could vaguely hear Sam's snores from the other room.
"I'm gonna go upstairs." I stated, looking down at the floor.
"See you later." She smiled teasingly.
I awkwardly waved at her and went up quickly. I stepped into Colby's room, walking over to his bed and laying back down on it. I cuddled myself back into his chest. He stirred in his sleep, wrapping his arms around me.
"Where did you go?" He mumbled.
"Down stairs. I need to some medicine for my hangover." I replied, looking up at him.
He nodded his head. He glanced down at me, a soft smile came to his face. "You look beautiful."
I snorted and rubbed my head against his chest. "Shut up. No, I don't."
"I disagree."
"Well, you're wrong."
"No, I'm not."
"Yes, you ar-"
His lips cut me off, pressing into mine gently. A light noise left my mouth as he tightened his hold on me.
