When the Flower Blooms Again

Under the Blossom Tree.

            The bright sun shone on the top of my head that day. I took glances afar into the distance towards the cherry blossom tree once again. The tree was very beautiful, pretty insects and animals will roam around there. That day, I had an unknowingly urge to walk towards the tree. The grass rustles on the soft bed of the mud and soil as I strides along the field of green. This feels like paradise, a place that could only happen in one's dream. I looked up to the sky as I sat down underneath the blossom tree ever once again.
           "Only if time will allow me to," I said to myself while the black birds flew into the seemingly endless horizon.
            And as I looked down and to the right of me, I found Ge Bu underneath the tree fast asleep. His calm look when he closes his eyes bring me back the nostalgic feeling of putting my brother to bed. Those were the wonderful time where our relationship weren't yet heated.
           "What are you looking at?" A man peaked to my face and whispered in my left ear, "he's relatively cute isn't he?"
          I abruptly turned, not knowing that our lips were centimeters apart, I quickly turned away. He laughed.
           "You are really an interesting girl. You're already about to be the emperor's woman, and yet, you still have the audacity to check guys out!"
           "I wasn't checking him out!" I yelled.
           I turned looking into his eyes, it was the same man that came in my father's pao the other day. What is he doing here?
"In fact, why are you up so close to MY face?" I taunted back.
"I was close to your face?! You were the one who turned back so abruptly! Who wants to kiss you!"
"Did anybody asked you to kiss me? No! You pervert!"
"I'm a pervert?! Then what are you-"
"Guys," Ge Bu said while opening his eyes and stares back and forth between him and me. "Yin Jie, after a few years, you're still like this."
            "What, Ge Bu? You're taking a stance on her side too? We've been practically brothers for all our lives!" Yin Jie said while widening his eyes.
            "Yin Jie, calm down. I just didn't want you to create any misunderstanding with Nuo Min. Plus, she is the daughter of the clan leader and a future potential empress."
             "Exactly madman! Now shut your mouth up before I do something to you!" I taunted Yin Jie once again.
             "Oh, I'm so scared of a little girl I-"
             "Yin Jie, calm down, will you. What is up with you two? Just recently met and is already giving each other a hard time," Ge Bu shook his head slightly and stood up. "Enough of you two, I'm off with a horse ride."
             "Take me with you!" Both Yin Jie and I yelled synonymously at the same time. We both took glares at one another and ran off after Ge Bu.
