WHILST LOOKING at the Head Girl from afar, Sirius hadn't noticed the boy she was with until she sat down at the Hufflepuff table.

There she was, sitting next to Vincent Reeves, eating toast and drinking pumpkin juice. She was laughing along to what he was saying. What could they have been talking about?

No one but him pointed it out, and it seemed no one cared too.

"Nah, they're just talking about Prefect duties." He thought.

It took all of Sirius' strength not to cause a scene, dismissing any assumptions, but when he saw their hands intertwine under the table, he stood up.

The Marauders looked up from their plates, looking at their curly-haired mate. They each shared confused glances, before settling onto where Sirius' pointed look was directed at.

"Well, won't you look at that mate," James observed.

"First Lily, then Hazel. What are we ought to do with him? He keeps stealing our ladies." James snickered, making a joke to lighten the mood.

It didn't work.

Sirius had walked all the way around from their table, a few eyes on him, seeing if he would sit with another girl. They were eagerly awaiting his next conquest, all so that everyone could rule them out as another hookup on their Bingo cards.

When they saw him approach the head girl, their stares dropped, dismissing the action as just them exchanging a few plans of action while at the Great Hall.

They were gravely mistaken.

"Hey Jones, can I talk to you?"

~

Sirius was slightly irritated.

He didn't know why, he just felt, mad.

He had assumed Hazel would sit by her friends when she arrived for breakfast, but when he saw that she was still hanging around Vincent Reeves, that was no longer the probable option.

He was just promised a walk with the girl from the dorms towards the hall for breakfast, they made no commitment, yet he didn't know why he was being petty.

"What's up?" Hazel asked, confused.

"Come with me." He stated, grabbing her arm to lead her out the great hall.

"Woah man, what're you doing?" Vincent asked, standing up. "Let her go," he added.

"It's Head boy & girl business, so I suggest you sit back down Reeves." Sirius retorted, rolling his eyes at the faux knight in shining armor.

It was clearly a facade. Vincent stared at Hazel for reassurance, and after she gave him a smile, signifying that it was alright, he handed Sirius a curt nod.

"I have a proposition for you." Sirius didn't know what he was doing, he just did what felt right. "I want us to continue shagging," he finished.

"What?" Hazel asked, surprised.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I said that we should have sex."

"Yeah, I heard you. That's not what I meant." She answered, massaging her temples.

"Black, I'm not going to have sex with you. Besides, that was a one time thing. I'm going on a date with Vincent."

"So? It's not like you're together. You guys aren't dating yet. Hazel, let's have sex."

"Black, you're crazy."

Hazel traipsed back to the Great Hall, disregarding the curly haired boy's proposal.
