'the 30086s are here'
Cassia dragged herself out of bed. No doubt they were just another family of humanoids, with chunks of metal for brains. Like everyone else around here. 'tell them I'm showering' Cassia announces, while heading up the stairs. Its not a real shower, of course. Its basically just a hose that lets out hydrochloric steam, which cleanses the metal. It surprisingly doesnt affect her human skin. she heard the door buzz open.
after shower (not a pervert ;) :
Cassia's POV
I looked the same as ever. My 'artificial' hair didnt shine, it just glowed and me, being half robot, was practically immune to pimples so in conclusion, i think i looked fine. i shrugged on an oversized hoodie and skinny jeans and headed downstairs.
once i was down, i could here faint whispers of chatter emanating from the living room. the door was open a crack, mom probably forgot to turn the auto-lock on. i peeked in and spotted a man and a woman sitting on the sofa. The woman was the picture of pristine humanoid elegance, wearing a long tight fitting black skirt with a turtle neck. Her ears were accessorized with emerald green tanzanite studs and a medium sized golden hoop. She was, for humanoid standards, really pretty. The man, on the other hand was more sophisticated, wearing a simple grey suit and gold watch. From what i could see, the watch was well worn and the suit had grey patches on it, which the man had artfully hidden from my parents. I couldnt spot my sister.
After draining my face of emotion (i could do that quite impressively these days), i opened the door and...as the humans used to say, faced the music.
