I got up fast and tried to whip my tears away.

"N n noting i just um tripped" please, please be stupid enough to believe that terrible lie.

He looked at me for a minute.

"You sure, your not lying to me right?"

"No, I tripped and fell which made the lamp fall yea"

He looked at me again to check if I wasn't hiding something.

"Come here Alex"

I walked up to him and he hugged me. I would have mocked him about how mister bad boy was so caring but I need the hug.

I could feel tears running down my face. Soking his shirt with them.

"I'm gonna go get you your pjs from Your room which you won't be needing if your staying with me" he winked and left the room.

As soon as he left the room my fake smile faded. I took out my phone and kept re-reading the message. Why was I keeping this from him? I'm I gonna go? What if I don't? But the main question going through me head was why didn't I tell Jose.

He could help me. Help me decide if I should go. He can be there to protect me. Tell me not to go.
