"one heart, one love, one destiny"
-Robert Marley
______________________________Alan's heart was going crazy.
He was so nervous and afraid of what would happen when he told Ellis.
When Ellis had left for work, Alan had gone back home.
He felt like an idiot.
He and Ellis both knew Alan didn't have work that day. He was so horrible at hiding things.
He wasn't even supposed to be hiding it but this was something that he knew would break Ellis' heart.
In the evening when Ellis came back home, Alan sat him down on the living room couch.
"Are you going to tell me what's bothering you now?" Ellis asked once he had sat down. Alan took a shaky deep breath,
"Babe...you remember what I told you about my health a while back?"
Ellis straightened his back and his eyebrows furrowed in worry, "yes. You told me about how your heart is-- no."
Ellis' hand flew to his mouth as he realised what he was about to be told.
Ellis felt tears building up in his eyes, blurring his vision as he got up and hurried over to Alan, wrapping his arms around the fragile man.
Tears streamed down Alan's pale cheeks and he tried not to sob as he spoke, "I- my heart's f-failing, Ellis."
"I'm going to die."
