Ellis looked down at Alan with a soft smile, "what is it?"
"I... nevermind.. it's stupid.." Alan mumbled, burying his face into Ellis' chest.
"Come on babe, just tell me. I'm sure it's not stupid."
There was a moment of silence before Alan spoke,
"I was just thinking that...I really want to marry you but now that...I don't know if I'll get to live to see that day."
Ellis wrapped his arms around Alan and kissed his hair,
"Baby, you need to stop being so negative. Everything will turn out just fine and for the record, I want to marry you too."
Everything will be just fine.
Who was he trying to convince?
Alan, or himself?
Ellis was scared. He was scared beyond belief but he wanted to believe that it would turn out just fine.
"I love you so much Ellis."
"I love you too Alan. Always."
