FROM THE PROPHET (SAW)

Narrated Anas (Radi Allahu anhu): The people mentioned the fire and the bell (they suggested those as signals to indicate the starting of prayers), and they mentioned the Christian and the Jews,then Bilal was ordered to pronounce the Adhan for the prayer by saying its wordings twice, and for the iqamah (the call for the actual standing for the prayers in rows) by saying its wordings once. Narrated ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu anhu): The prophet (Sallallahu alaihi was all am) said, "The most hated persons to Allah are 3; * A person who deviates from the right conduct, i.e., an evil doer,in the sanctuaries of Makkah and Al-madinah); * a person who wants the tradition of the pre-islamic era of ignorance to remain in Islam; and a person who seeks to shed somebody's blood without any right."
