Jabir (Radi Allahu anhu) said that the prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: The five daily prayers are like a deep river flowing by the door of any of you in which he bathes 5 times everyday.
Uthman ibn affan (Radi Allahu anhu) said; I heard the messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said,There's no Muslim who,when the time for prayers comes, performs wudu properly,concentrates on his prayer and bows correctly, but the prayer will be an expiation of the sins committed prior to it,sp as long as no major sin had been committed. This is the case until the end of tine . (Sahih Muslim 3/112)
