First off, before you continue reading, on a scale of one to ten how good am I at this story thing? No reason for being nice, I wanna know what you really thing about my writing, hate and all.

*Beemo's voice* Who wants to play video games?

Well too bad, you get to cry me another river.

So, if you didn't get to see the a/n for the last chapter, this one is about Maka's mother and the mystery behind why we never see her,

Like,

AT ALL!

At least we get a reason why we never see anyone else's parents but hearing that she just started moving around the world sounds fishy to me and I had a reason to give her a conspiracy.

Here we go: Kami's letters

Spirit Albarn is not the "bad" papa that Maka makes him out to be. We obviously see this in *coughcough* special ways in the anime/manga.

But this one is probably the one that will give him the Father of the year award.

Enough sugarcoats, I wanna see the tears.

The story that they give us is that Spirit and Kami were having marital problems, she leaves them in Death City, the end.

What I wanna know is why she didn't take Maka with her? Was our wittle (yes, wittle) Maka that bad of a girl?

No, she was just too young to be moving almost every month.

Another thing that they tell us is that "Kami" sends letters/postcards from at least every place she goes to.

Here is where the tears start falling.

I believe that it is not Kami who sends the letters, its Spirit.

Yep. Bad papa Spirit is the one who gave Maka bravery during the fight with the Kishin Asura.

But why would he do that?

Simple, Kami was dead the whole time.

"Now hold on a second!" the reader exclaimed.

Yeah, you read correctly, Kami is Dead.

And I have a reason. You see, Kami died a little after she started moving around and sent her first postcard to Maka, explaining what was happening.

Once Spirit found out about her death, he couldn't bring it to himself to tell Maka.

So, he took a mission behind Maka's back to get another postcard to send to her under Kami's name.

Maka, (being the wittle, innocent child she was) believed that her mother was still alive and doing well and expected this to be an all time thing. So when Maka then asked her papa about whether or not she got the next card from her mama, he made sure of when she would be asleep the next night, and went off to get another postcard.

And to make this even worse, everyone was in on this master plan to help Maka not know about her mama's death. Soon enough, this turned into a second chore for Spirit, and would become a monthly present for Maka.

Okay, so she didn't get the funeral that everyone needs, but Spirit would rather watch Stein dissect his own body, than tell Maka about her death.
