After our show in Illinois, the boys and I were taken to a hotel to stay in for the night. We gathered up all our suitcases and made our way inside when we arrived. Paul checked us in while we stood together talking.
"Hey, Ni," Harry said, "you wanna share a room tonight? Ya know, since we're heading out together tomorrow."
"Course, mate," I replied with a smile. I looked over at Louis who gave me a wink, causing me to blush. Gah, did I blush too easily.
"Who's rooming with who?" Paul asked as he walked over to us holding the key cards.
"Niall and I are together," Harry told him. The way he had said that made my heart melt. I bet that's the way we would come out in an interview I thought.
Paul handed Harry the key cards to our room then walked over to Liam, Louis, and Zayn, who were unsure of who was going to room alone.
Harry and I heaved our luggage to the lift and rode up alone to our room on the third floor. My heart was pounding like crazy at the thought of being alone in a room with Harry for the night. I knew he slept commando, and I didn't mind seeing all of him.
"I'm really glad you agreed to come with me," he told me, flashing a smile.
"Ah yeah, well I love hanging out with ya," I replied. He looked down at the floor with a smile and whispered, "Thanks."
Just a second later, the lift stopped and the doors opened. We walked out with our luggage in tow, searching for our room.
"Three fifteen, three seventeen, three nineteen, and....three twenty one," Harry said aloud. "Alright, here's our room." He pulled one of the key cards out of the sleeve it was tucked away in and pushed it into the card scanner. He opened the door, and we headed inside to a lovely room with two beds, a love seat, a nice sized bathroom, a mini fridge, side table, a lamp, a desk with a chair, and a flat screen TV.
"Which bed would you like?" Harry asked.
"Uh, it doesn't matter," I told him. He smiled and took the bed closest to the door giving me the one closest to the window.
"So don't tell the other guys this," Harry started, "but I enjoy hanging out with you more than them. I mean, no offense to them! You're just much more fun to be with."
I laughed and said, "I actually feel the same about you." He chuckled and set his bags down on the floor by his bed while I did the same with mine.
"You hungry?" he asked me, picking up the phone and dialing room service.
"Yeah," I answered. "Get me a burger and fries, please." He nodded.
I rummaged through my carry on bag and got out my phone charger then plugged it into the outlet by my bed, plugging the my phone into the other end.
"Yeah, hi," Harry said into the phone. "Uh, I'd like two burgers, two orders of fries, and um..." he put the phone down to his chest and asked, "Drink?"
"Coke."
"And two cokes. Yeah, that's all. Room three twenty one. Yeah. Alright. Thanks." He hung the phone up and came and lay beside me on my bed. He rested his head on my thigh, looking up at me.
"Your hair's tickling my leg," I told him with a laugh, making him giggle. Harry giggled and I'm the one who made it happen.
"Sorry," he apologised with a smile. "Should I move my hea-"
"No, no, you don't have to," I told him, cutting him off. "Your curls are just really soft, it feels funny." He laughed and brushed his fingers under my chin making me shiver. Harry was staring up at me looking straight into my eyes, and I was looking down at him the exact same way. I was just about to start leaning down to kiss his beautiful red lips when out of nowhere there was a loud knock at the door followed by a deep American voice saying, "Room service!"
