Valentina's POV

Her thoughts during school.

1st period: was so awkward. I just sat there with my AirPods in and he was just sitting on his phone. Since we sit so close it was every weird.

2nd period: was horrible. Octavia kept apologizing to me and trying to talk to me so I turn my volume on my AirPods all the way and did my work.

3rd period: I feel like I don't even have anyone that I really care about like that except Banks. I feel really bad I just really want to apologize and talk to him.

4th period: what's even up with him and Zoë like I swear she has to talk to everyone that I do. I don't know I just feel like she did something. Good thing she's not at school today.

5th period: I kinda miss Truman maybe I should talk to him but that'd make me hoe. But me and Banks aren't dating. But we did do a lot of things last night. I don't even know. What is life.

6th period: Life, the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death.

7th period: Lunch was ok I sat and talked to some guys from the football team and kinda took a liking in one of them but that's a story for another day. Banks didn't even go to lunch.

8th period: I fell asleep during call and my friend Macy woke me up.

9th period: I think I'm torn between Banks and Truman.
