It was. . . Odd at first, the searing reaching my lower back. It hurt.
All I can hear are my pained cries and desperate screams. My hands reach up to my neck where Seungmin had bitten me, and I want to tear off my skin. The giant dog in front of me pulls my hands down before I actually start to.
I try and stand, only to fall to my knee and cry harder, shoulders pinned together.
I feel my bones begin to break, and scream. I must look so pathetic. I arch my back and cry out again as my spinal discs start to distort and move.
Seungmin looks at me in pity and lays his head down on my stomach, causing shooting fire to run through my body.
Everything was getting dark. Soon enough, I pass out from shock.
I woke up crying, but I was out of the room from before. I try to sit up, only to whimper as my sore muscles stop me from doing so.
Shaking like a leaf, I lay back down and pull the comforter over me, begging for warmth.
Someone knocks on the door, and I croke in response. They open the door, and close it behind them, sitting on the edge of the bed.
Jeongin smiles weakly at me. "Doing better?" I nod lightly, trying not to move. My throat burns.
"T-tea." I manage to say, and Jeongin nods.
"Chan hyung is making some now." I whimper as I try to smile, but it hurt.
Everything hurt, ached. But nothing compared to the sounds and feeling of your bones breaking and rebuilding themselves.
I start shivering more, and snuggle into the blanket in a sad attempt to retain warmth.
Jeongin frowns. "Cold?" I nod once as a response, squeezing my eyes shut as I try and swallow the lump in my throat.
He sighs, but lays down next to me, lifting the covers just lightly to get under the blanket. The sudden cold are makes me yelp.
Jeongin lays quietly next to me, as close as he can get without touching me or hurting me. "It'll be better now," he whispers, and my eyes eyes begin to get heavy, "try and get some rest. I'll wake you up when Chan hyung brings the tea."
I do as instructed, my shaking body starts to calm down at the new found warmth.
As I slowly start to drift into sleep, I feel Jeongin wrap his arm around me carefully, pulling himself closer to me, close enough that my back was touching his chest.
His body heat was the final straw for me, and I'm sent back into sleep.
' Everything was happening so fast. First my brother, now I'm leaving behind the life I built from nothing?
The tears that stained my cheeks from the night before were still prominent.
I watched as my dad helped the movers get everything to the truck. My heart beating fast and abnormally, I bite my lip in order to not cry.
I call Mickey, my best friend. She doesn't pick up. "Damnit." I mutter.
I call again, and this time she picks up. "Y/N, it's 7 in the morning, what could you possibly be up for?"
I don't answer her question. "Mickey, get here now."
She doesn't question why, hearing the urgency in my voice. "Be there in five."
I sit on my porch, bouncing my leg anxiously as I chew on my lip.
Mickey pulls into the driveway, and throws her bike into the yard. She hugs me tightly and I start to cry into her shoulder.
"Why?" She mumbles, she must have saw the moving trucks.
"Dad got a business promotion."
She scoffs. "So they don't bother to ask you how you feel?" I shake my head.
"They've been planning this for two months and I was told last night." I scowl.
"Will you still visit. . .?" Mickey asks, a hopeful look in her eyes. I nod.
"Of course. Plus, I still have your phone number."
"So where are you moving to?"
"{Insert place you want to go, in your country}."
"Hey, at least you get to go where you always have wanted to visit." Mickey says, trying to be optimistic, as always.
"But I don't want to leave you." I mumble, lip starting to quiver again.
"It's okay, it's not like I died. I'll always be here for y--"
"Y/N! Wake up!"
