Reader POV:
What is this? I can hear... two people arguing? Damn, they're loud.... Oh, I remember, I passed out because of my sickness. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the boring ceiling, I turned over as I hugged my pillow and opened my eyes once again. I saw a silhouette that apparently saw me wake up. I-I think that's Yuki... I sighed as I heard him say:
"Y/n, are you okay?" I felt his hand touch my forehead.
I didn't answer, I just hugged my pillow.
"Y/n, you need to take your medicine..." Again I didn't have the strength to answer.
He sighed, but then I decided to sit up, barely. He smiled as I saw him holding a spoon with some sort of medicine. I opened my mouth and after that I gulped down the medicine. Yuck.
"There you go, Y/n, you're so brave..." He caressed my cheek with his warm hand, as I could feel the sweetness of his words... I really do like him. I opened my mouth just about to say something and then-
"What do you think you're doing?" Masamoto leaned against the door as he rushed to us and grabbed Yuki's hand away from me. "If you touch her you're just going to get sick yourself."
"I don't care." Yuki spit out.
"It's your fault she's sick anyways." Masamoto said back.
"What's that logic?!" Yuki got mad.
"If you were smart you would know by now."
"Listen, you're being just a burden! Leave me and my girlfriend alone!" Yuki crossed his arms over his chest and looked at Masamoto.
Wow he's bold.
"Oh, yeah?! Well I-" Masamoto was about to say when I stopped him:
"Stop it, right now."
They both immediately sat down and held their hands on their laps. That's better.
But then Yuki got up and sat on the bed next to me: "Y/n... Do you want anything to drink? You must be thirsty..." I saw the sadness in his piercing eyes as he took my hand. I smiled and said with a raspy voice:
"Sure, some water will do."
"O-of course.."
"I'll go get it." Masamoto said.
"No-" Yuki started but I finished:
"Let him." Yuki looked at me and mumbled a small "okay". "Y-y/n.."
"Yeah?"
"W-why did you call us at the same time...?"
"Ah, I'm sorry, Yuki, I forgot I called you at the same time. So here are we now. I'm really sorry."
"It's okay, it's not your fault.." he smiled. We were almost whispering and then he said: "I bought you flowers, Y/n... I hope you like them..." He smiled sadly as he pulled the red roses out of the vase. I smiled:
"They're beautiful, Yuki. Just like you."
He blushed as the shade of deep red roses and said: "t-t-t-t-that's what I'm supposed to say to you..!~" he covered his face.
Masamoto came back with a glass of water and said: "here you go, Y/n. I hope you'll get better." he smiled. But then his phone rang.
"Hello?... Yeah... Aw, now? Dude, I can't, I'm busy...No, I'm not- you're really hard headed, huh?... Ugh, okay, okay! I'm coming."
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"I'm sorry, my friend's in a sticky situation, I gotta go. You just...keep your 'romance' romantic. I think I'm gonna puke." He said as he left.
Rude.
Room was filled with silence for five seconds as Yuki turned to me again, smiling.
"C-Can I stay?" He said softly still holding my hand. "Sure" i replied.
"Thank you, really, I wouldn't know what I would do without you."
"S-stop thanking me! W-what kind of a b-boyfriend would I be if I don't look out for you!" He blushed.
I smiled: "I dunno, I'm just really thankful... Hey, Yuki..."
"Y-y-y-yeah?" He got nervous.
"You know I don't have to choose."
"B-between what?.."
"You and Masamoto."
"O-oh.."
"I already chose you." I smiled and squeezed his hand.
It was like in a movie, a romantic song would play in the background as he widened his eyes at me but smiled immediately after. It's like he didn't expect it, but he knew it well. It's a fact. We're in a relationship, and we'll get better, together.
"I-I like you, Y/n." He smiled insecurely and hugged me.
"I know. I like you too." I kissed his head and felt him melt in my arms.
