You sat in the living room of Bea's apartment in downtown LA. Ever since you'd asked her out, the two of you had been inseparable. Bea was currently out picking something "special" up.
You paused the show you were watching when Bea rushed in the door. You gave her a curious look as she jumped onto the couch next to you. She was clearly excited, proved by the smile that you loved so much.
"What's up, babe?" You asked.
"There's a song on the album that I want to show you," Bea said.
The album. You had heard so much about the album. The album that was originally named "spectrum" but was later changed to "aurora."
"Wait, so I finally get to hear one of the songs?!" You asked with excitement. Bea nodded eagerly.
"This one is extremely important, your opinion matters most," Bea said, then added, "Oh! And be honest. If you hate it, I wanna know."
"Bea, I don't think I could hate any song you write," You said with a sincere smile.
Bea let out a chuckle, "Well, that definitely helps me feel better-anyway, here's the song."
Bea clicked the play button, and the sound of the song immediately filled your ears. You smiled as the lyrics began. It was a love song.
I know that it's been written before, but
up until now, couldn't find the words, cause
ain't nobody gotten through to me. Nobody else but you to me. Nobody else can turn me inside out inside myself. And I can't take it when you look me in my eyes, eyes.By the end of the song, You were in tears. Bea had gone out of her way to write a song about you, and she put it on her album which she was so proud of. You felt honored, but most of all, you felt loved. Bea went into panic.
"Oh, god. Do you hate it? Why are you crying, baby?" Bea asked. She put her hands on your shoulders comfortingly. You giggled.
"Quite the opposite, I love it," You said. Bea breathed out a sigh of relief, and she smiled.
"You do?" Bea asked hopefully. You nodded your head.
Bea wiped your tears away with the pad of her thumb. She slowly began leaning in, and so had you. She stopped an inch away from your lips, giving you time to pull away if you wanted to. But you sealed the gap, capturing Bea in a kiss.
Bea pulled away slowly, put her forehead against yours and whispered, "We won't crash and burn, I promise."
