It had been exactly three days since Bea called things off, and you were a mess. You didn't get out of bed, you didn't sleep, you didn't eat. You had debated texting Bea so many times, but ultimately decided not to.

You were currently listening to crash&burn for the hundredth time, and crying. Ever since Bea broke up with you, it's all you could do: listen to crash&burn and cry.

Halfway through the song, your phone rang. You immediately grabbed it, hoping it would be Bea, but it was just Kennedi. You decided to answer it.

"Hello?" You asked through the phone. Your voice was hoarse from crying.

"Hey, hon, are you doing okay?" Kennedi asked gently.

"I-I'll be fine," You stuttered, even though you knew that was a lie. You wouldn't be fine, Bea had left you like you feared she would.

"I know that's not true, me and Tj are on our way. We're going to help fix you up. No questions, bye," Kennedi said. She hung up the phone before you could protest.

You figured you might as well try to feel better. You got out of bed so you could change clothes. You grabbed a hoodie and sweatpants. You had already put the pants on before realizing they were actually Bea's. You began to tear up, then you pulled yourself together.

There was a knock on the door, so you walked to it and let Kennedi and Tj in. Your two best friends walked in your house and frowned at your half-ass appearance.

    "You look rough," Tj said.

"Shut up, Tj," Kennedi said, smacking Tj on the shoulder. Kennedi pulled you into a hug, which you gladly accepted and returned. She rubbed your back comfortingly as you began crying. Soon Tj joined in on your hug as well.

"We're here if you want to talk about it, but if you don't, that's okay, too," Kennedi said.

"I just miss her so much, Ken," You cried, "I don't understand, I thought we were fine, I thought e-everything was fine."

"She's missing out on an amazing girl," Tj said, "If Bea doesn't want someone as amazing as you, that's her loss."

You sniffled and you smiled at Tj weakly, "Thank you, Tj. And thank you, Kennedi."

"We're going to fix this, (Y/n), I promise," Kennedi said. You weren't sure what that meant exactly, but you hoped she kept that promise.
