Mara inhales a deep breath and gathers up her courage.

A knock to his door.
Another knock.
A knock again.
He just slept few minutes ago. Hope it isn't his annoying landlady asking for rent again. He knows it's overdue. About two months, more or less.
The knocking won't stop. He opens the door slightly so the person could see him.

She looks like sweet candy to his eyes. Smells like troubles. A woman like her won't be looking for penniless guy like him.
"Don't bother. I won't let you in. Someone like you is off limits here," says a guy grumpily.
Mara apologizes, "Sorry, did I wake you up, Mr.Grant?"
"I've seen Knock Knock movie. I'm not Keanu Reeves. Not stupid enough to let a pretty stranger into my house."
"Excuse me. My name is..."
"Nope. Can't help you. Go find another guy for free sex."
The rude guy just slams the door shut again.
(Damn him! How did he know? Since that night, I couldn't stop thinking about sex. Wanna do it again with him. Is it so obvious? Written on my face?)
Mara rubs her face. She knocks again. She yells, "I know you could hear me! We need few soundtracks from you!"
The guy opens the door slightly. He asks suspiciously, "Who sent you?"
"Thor made a movie..."
"Hate him. He said my music is lame."
He is going to close the door again when Mara slips her foot into the doorway.
She protests, "Thor is fighting against Hellene Young. Are you going to help him or not?"
A foe to my enemy would be my friend. That's what Dylan taught Mara to say to him.
"I'm listening..."
"We need few background music and soundtracks from you."
He shakes his head. He hasn't composed any music since his wife left him. Without his Muse, he got no spiritually guide. In short, he couldn't make one even if he wanted it.
