Y/N was slowly coming back into consciousness from her dreams. Before opening her eyes, she rubbed her face as she got up from laying down, sitting on a soft comfortable bed. She then squinted her eyes, clearing the view.

As her vision got clearer, she widened her eyes as soon as she realized she wasn't on her room but on an unfamiliar one. She directly gazed down to her body, making sure if her clothes was still intact. Y/N exhaled air as soon as she felt relieved that her clothes was still on her. She looked around, trying to remember what happened before she passed out.

She placed her hand on her head, trying to recall everything. And it hit her. Her shop was destroyed by some unidentified terrifying creature.

And then... she thought. I was saved by that man when I was almost attacked by it. And then... And then... What happened next? I can't remember!

Brushing her hair with her fingers, she got up from the bed and arranged the sheets. She walked to the mirror to see herself. As soon as she felt satisfied on the way she look, she immediately headed herself down to the door and exited the room. The smell of food lingered around the house and Y/N could see some sparkles dancing on the air, and some of it approaching her.

Without further due, she followed where the smell was coming from and there she found herself standing on someone else's kitchen with two pairs of eyes gazing up on her and some food on the table.

"Good morning sir. I'm Y/N and may I ask where am I?" she greeted and immediately asked.

"Is that her?" One latter asked to the person beside him. The latter then looked at her again and smiled. "Please sit. Hello, I'm Jin!" he introduced.

Y/N did what she was told and quickly sat on the chair adjacent to where the two guardians were sitting.

Jin narrowed his eyes as he realized something. He then handed Y/N a plate and utensils for her to eat. "Please, help yourself."

Y/N nodded and get some food to her plate. "Uhm, who are you?" she questioned, pertaining to the man beside Jin.

"I'm Hoseok. You can call me Hobi. I was the one who saved you," Hoseok introduced as he showed a bright smile at her.

Y/N widened her eyes. "Oh right! I forgot to thank you. Thank you for saving me yesterday," she thanked the latter who just replied another genuine smile.

The young lass started to eat and surprisingly, the food was quite good. She wondered who was the one who cooked these cuisines.

"Uhm, if you don't mind me asking, who cooked these delicious food? It's super tasty!" Y/N asked the two.

"I am," Jin immediately replied infinitesimally.

Y/N widened her eyes. "Oh wow. You're a great cook! These food are amazing. No wonder," she complimented.

Jin smiled and let out a small laugh. "Of course, I am. I'm sorry though if the others aren't here. They had to report to their work immediately, especially now that Eurynomos is on the loose," Jin explained.

Y/N furrowed her eyebrows. "Pardon?"

Hoseok mentally facepalmed. Jin wasn't thinking. Y/N still didn't know their existence so of course she would be confused. "Aish Jin... Anyway, Eurynomos is the name of the demon who attacked you yesterday. He escaped from hell and he's a threat to your kind."

"What? How did you know then?" Y/N carefully asked. Of course, she knew these two latter were no ordinary people. She knew they were more than than just humans although she wasn't sure if what kind of being were they.

Hoseok swallowed the food on his mouth. "We're the Guardians of this world, Y/N and it's our duty to protect the humans and any other living and non-living things from danger. And Eurynomos is enough to be called as danger to this world."

"So you guys actually exist?" She asked surprisingly in a nonchalance way.

"Yes."

Y/N nodded at that answer and continued eating. She wasn't surprised or anything and that made Hoseok bewildered with a single question.

"Aren't you surprised or anything?" The latter questioned, pondering on her last reply.

Y/N just replied a shrugg. "A little bit. I saw you yesterday so I expected you are not a human," she simply answered.

Hoseok just nodded and finished what he was eating. "For the mean time, you'll stay here. You are not safe out there... I think Eurynomos was targeting you..." Hoseok enunciated, making Y/N automatically looked at him though she said nothing. "I'll help others to stop Eurynomos and these two guardians, Jin and Jimin will be accompanying you for the time-being," he further articulated.

Y/N just nodded in response. "If he's a danger to us then, shouldn't you capture him and sent him back to hell before he could cause any more danger?"

Jin shook his head. "Eurynomos is no ordinary demon, Y/N. Even for a guardian ourselves, we can't handle him easily. The last time we sent him on hell, we almost died..."

Y/N didn't said anything and looked down, continuing herself to eat the delicious food in front of her.

"Don't worry. As long as you're here, you'll be safe," Hoseok reassured her before standing up. "Anyway, I'll head out now. Jimin will be here any minute."

That was the last sentence Hoseok said before going out, leaving only Y/N and Jin still eating their breakfast.

"Jin?" Y/N called.

The latter just responded a single hum.

Y/N asked. "What should we do here?" 

Jin shrugged. "I don't know. We can eat some more. Or play. Or you can ask questions while staying here. Anything you would please," he replied shortly.

Surprising them both, another latter appeared. The Wind Guardian.

Shocked, Jin thrown a water ball to Jimin, making the latter's face dripping wet. "You better stop popping out from everywhere or I'll drown you!" Jin scolded him.

Jimin wiped his face in an irritated manner. "You can just slap me or anything. Why throw a water ball at me?" he said in annoyance.

Y/N laughed at how the two were acting silly just now. Jimin grabbed some clean cloth and wiped himself with it before approaching the table and sat himself too.

The lass swallowed and turned her full attention to Jimin. "You're the one who came with Hoseok the other day, right?" she questioned Jimin who just smiled at her and nodded.

"Yes. I'm Jimin. The Wind Guardian," Jimin introduced.

Y/N then gazed up to Jin. "So I assume you're a Water Guardian?"

Jin grinned at her. "Ahh... You're smart, huh. I like you," he said. Y/N reddened at his compliment. "Yes, indeed. I am."

"Then what about Hobi?"

"Oh him?" Jin giggled. "He's a Life Guardian, Y/N."
