Hair Color

Lucy's POV

I spotted my best friend and crush Flare Corona outside waiting for me.

"Hey Flare!" I waved greeting her.

"Hey Blondie!" She greeted back.

We started walking to our shared apartment. Why buy two when you could share one with your best friend. We have been living together for almost a year already.

"Ugh Blondie I really don't like my hair, it's way too bright and it stands out! I hate being the center of attention as well." Flare complained looking at her red locks.

"What!? I love your hair! It's really pretty! I love the color red too!" I answered back crossing my arms.

Flare looked at me her eyes dim. I patted her head.

"Flare your hair is that color for a reason! I love your hair color it's so beautiful!" I said touching her red braids.

She sighed, "ok Blondie..." She said continuing to walk with me.

We arrived at our apartment and went inside. We changed into some pjs and sat in bed.

"So Flare why don't you like your hair color?" I asked the redhead.

"Because it too bright! I'm not really a fan of bright ya'know..." She said playing with her hair.

I smiled at her.

"Flare your hair is beautiful trust me!" I said playing with her long locks.

After a while of sitting in bed and talking we both finally fell asleep.

In then morning I woke up. I got up and brushed my teeth. I put on my normal clothing and went over to the bed.

"C'mon Flare! Let's go shopping today!" I said jumping on the bed.

She groggily got up her face covered in her hair.

"Blondie I think I should dye my hair..." She said looking down.

I froze, I looked at Flare her face serious.

"What?! W-why? No! Don't Flare! Are your serious?!" I said my face showing how I felt.

"Yes Blondie! Why not! I don't like my hair..." She said curling up on the bed covering her face.

I bent down next to her.

"Flare don't do that, your hair is really nice. Everyone loves it trust me." I said stroking her head.

She got up and looked at me. She smiled.

"Thanks Blondie, no wonder why I like you so much!" She said planting a kiss on my cheek.

My face flushed, "I like you too Flare! A lot...." I said looking down.

"Don't worry I feel the same! I won't dye my hair just for my girlfriend!" She smirked knowingly.

Girlfriend eh? Yup sounds good!
