JUNGKOOK'S POV

With a bump on our head we are seated on the sofa across Y/N. She was looking at the Joker scanning him from head to toe.

"You are telling me that this brat here is the grim reaper and a grim reaper helped us because of what reason?"

I was about to answer her question when the Joker interrupted. "it's not like we are the only one who's keeping a secret or two" with a serious face he stared at Y/N.

"It's not like I want to keep it. We are just afraid that if Jungkook found out he will freak out or tell others about us" She said.

"Is that the reason why you don't want to accept me at first?" she nodded as a response to my question. No wonder. "But what I told you before is not a lie. I'm really awkward when interacting with others" she added.

"Tell us about you then" the Joker ordered.

"Can we wait until Grandma arrive?" she suggested. "No" the Joker immediately responded.

I glared at Joker and he just rolled his eyes. I notice Y/N getting nervous. Her lips are formed a thin line.

"Can't you just be a little considerate brat?" she said while glaring. " I was about to but you called me a Brat so start talking old hag" the Joker retorted.

"I will after I choke you" Y/N was about to launch at him but I stop them immediately.

"Can't you just sit still and compromise?"

"No" they both replied and I sigh.

"Let's just wait for Grandma" I told them and luckily, they listened. I plump myself on the sofa. My body is aching and I'm so tired.

"How's your body?" Y/N asked breaking the silence. "Are you worried about me?" I asked in a teasing manner.

"Of course," she said seriously. She was looking at me with a serious expression. She's not like this, whenever I use that tone of voice or tease her, she will get flustered and get mad but this time she was full of concern.

"Hey what are you spacing out?" she asked confused. "probably fantasizing you, he's a pervert after all" the Joker commented. I blushed because of his statement. I saw Y/N glaring at me.

"I'm not!" I defended myself. "you better not" Y/N warned. I glared at the Joker and he was staring at the ceiling. This brat!

Y/N covered her right ear and she looked in pain.

"You can hear the souls, aren't you?" the Joker said while looking at her. Y/N looked at me and then to Joker, she looked in pain.

"It's not like I want to, they just started coming at me. Screeching, crying and shouting in agony" she explained. I was surprised by the sudden revelation. So that explains why she was covering her ears and when grandma told her to listen only to her voice.

I started to understand it now.

"So, you are not a mortal?" I asked. "I am" I was a little bit disappointed by her answer. I thought I found someone who is the same as me.

"But with this kind of power who can live normally?" she mumbled with sarcasm.

"Akahoshi clan" the Joker interrupted. Y/N's eyes widen. She was so surprised that she started shaking. Fear was shown by her eyes.

"N-never h-heard it before" she stuttered while looking down.

"I don't think so" He smirked and continued his interrogation.

"What do you know about them?"

"I don't know them. Don't ask me" her voice was getting weaker and weaker each word. "How are you connected to them?" he added. "I-I told y-you I-I don't know them" her voice was shaking.
