If Taehyung had been mad before they went to the university, he was a hundred times more pissed now.

And the girl didn't get it.

She was finally going to leave him to be comfortable in his house, alone, so why was he so gloomy about it?

When she had finally packed her suitcase -or what consisted of several plastic bags because her suitcase wasn't available- she went out of the small bedroom, carrying them all.

"Hey, you should have called me, I could've helped you."

She looked ahead to see Taehyung who had got up from the couch. Tannie was jumping in front of her, making the whole process ten times worse.

"No, i'm-"

Aaaand he got all of her bags before she could even finish her sentence.

After putting everything in front of the door, they both sat down.

"So... I guess this is goodbye, but it would be nice to hang out some times, you've been very kind to me and I'd like to make it up to-"

"Do you realise that you're going to sleep in the same room with a male stranger?"

He cut her in, not bothering to say sorry.

Which kind of made the girl widen her eyes.

What is his problem with 'You can't trust everyone' ?

"Hum, you're a boy too. And as you can see, nothing has-"

"Jennie, this is a huge mistake you're making. You're putting yourself in danger. And I already told you-"

"Stop cutting in the middle of my sentences! "

Jennie raised her voice, which surprised both of them. She had never been the nervous one, nor was she impulsive. But this conversation was getting on her nerves.

"I mean, you don't even know me, and you claim that I can't take care of myself? I've been dreaming of getting a spot in this college for years, and right when I finally find a room, you tell me no. But who are you exactly? I'm an adult, I'm capable of taking control-"

"Yea, you were definitely in control when I picked you up from the streets at night."

"That was an accident, I wasn't in my right state of mind. Now that I know I have my place, I will be more careful."

A silent moment followed.

"I don't want to be weak Taehyung. I want to follow my dream."

"You don't even know that guy!"

This time, Taehyung was the one to raise his voice.

"Why do you think he immediately accepted you to be his roommate, huh? This fucking jerk is going to rape you or do even worse, and what will you do, huh? Stay there, wait for mummy to come? You don't know what the world is like, you don't know what people, strangers can do to you. Heck, if I didn't find you, you would still be on the roads, or by that time you would be dead of hunger. Jennie, the city is different then your little farm, and you won't ever get accustomed as fast as you think."
