The phone rang three times before it was answered with a soft click and a deep raspy voice.
"Hello?" Jasons' voice came through the cell phone.
"J-Jason?" Carly let out a quiet sob and wasn't sure what she had planned on saying. She really hadn't thought of calling him through completely.
"What's wrong, little girl? Missed me too much?" He joked a little bit but when he heard Carly start to choke up his voice changed to one of concern. "Carly, what's wrong? What happened?"
She couldn't make out the words, so after a moment of her trying to explain what had happened or what had been said through tears and cries.
"Get dressed. I'm coming to get you." The line went dead after that, leaving no room for discussion. Carly dropped the phone on her white bedspread as her head fell into her hands. She tried to calm herself, to make herself stop crying. But it wasn't working. Tears still spilled from her eyes. To anyone else, it might seem like she was being dramatic. But to her, she had never fought with her father. He had never raised her voice at her. He had always vowed to be the opposite of her abusive mother. Carly's father was always a gentle giant but he had blown up so easily. Carly had never seen him act like that and that terrified her.
Carly stood up from her bed and looked into the mirror. She tried to wipe away the tears from her stained cheeks, trying to erase the blotchy red marks on her face. It was no use though she was only aggravating her face even more by rubbing it further. She pulled on an old band hoodie over the tank top she had been wearing. As she was pulling on a pair of beat-up white sneakers, she heard the unfamiliar rumble of a truck pull into her driveway. It stopped and she heard the sound of a door open and close.
Carly grabbed her phone before she ran down the stairs towards the front door. Passing her two siblings and the mostly uneaten food on the table. She swung the door open to be greeted by Jason's large figure. He was dressed in a regular white t-shirt and dark wash jeans instead of his usual uniform.
He went to say something but before he could Carly launched herself towards him. Wrapping her arms around his torso, where his muscular arms closed around her. Stroking her hair as he held the crying girl in his hands. Jason didn't say anything, he just held her in the doorway that he had walked out of on the night they had met. From where he stood, he could see Adam and Sarah still sitting at the dining table.
Carly pulled away from Jason's embrace, trying to wipe away the tears and her embarrassment.
"Can you tell me what's wrong?" Jason asked softly as if she was a small fawn he didn't want to spook.
"M-My dad..." Carly stuttered as her voice wavered with emotions, she swallowed. Getting her emotions in check she began again. Trying to explain why she had summoned him, why she was crying into his chest, and soaking his shirt with tears. "He thinks I'm a whore." She managed to get out, probably too quickly because Jason made a face.
"Oh," He said, looking down at her with a parent-like attitude. "Carly. No, you're not a whore. A whore is someone who sleeps around." Jason pulled away from Carly to her dismay and shut the door behind her. Carly looked up at him with confusion clearly written on her face."You really don't know how innocent you are."
"What do you mean?" She asked, blinking in surprise. She couldn't believe the words that came from his mouth. Carly didn't pay attention to the passing cars or the possibility of someone seeing the two on the doorstep. It wasn't that she didn't care in fact, she hadn't even realized how exposed they truly were.
"If you were a whore, you wouldn't react the way you do when I touch you." He pulled her close again, his face mere inches from Carly's own. His breath fanning across her face, the minty scent mixing with his cologne. An intoxicating duo. Jason's eyed Carly down as his hand trailed down her in a slow, teasing way. His mouth founds its way to her ear, the sound of his breathing already set Carly on edge but his next actions only added to the confusing pool of desire between her legs.
"You're just an innocent little girl who doesn't know the first thing about being a whore. Do you?" Jasons' voice came out in a raspy whisper as his large hand cupped her mound roughly. Carly yelped, unused to the feeling of being gripped by another person. She shuddered as he spoke again. "Come stay the night with me, I'll make you feel better." His voice lowered seductively towards the end, his teeth finding their way to her ear lobe. Carly wasn't sure how she had made the decision she hadn't even thought of things completely before she responded to his dark question.
"O-Okay Jason" Carly answered barely audible over her small whimpers as Jason's hand moved slightly against her. She had expected him to be happy about her answer but his other hand that had been wrapped around her back until now found its way to her neck, gently squeezing.
"Is that how you are supposed to talk to me?" Jason asked, darkly. As if daring her to take the step into the darkness with him. Jason had pulled away from her neck now, he looked down at her wide eyes with animalistic hunger.
"No...? I don't understand." Carly was clueless about what he wanted but his lips still met hers. His kiss was rough and dominating with his tongue slipping into her mouth easily. When he pulled away, Jason planted a kiss on her forehead.
"It's okay, I'll teach you." Was all he said before scooping her up and carrying her towards his truck.
