6. First Date

I decided to text Beau and ask him where we were going for this date/dinner.

"Hey Beau where are we going today?"

He responded very quickly

"We are going to maccas, J.K. we are going to Red Lobster, why?"

"Oh ok, I just wanted to know what I should wear for it."

"Well if you really can't decide you don't have to wear anything."

"Oh my gosh Beau, goodbye I'll see you tonight, you dirty pig!!!"

"Ok see you tonight 😉😏"

I put down my phone and hopped onto the shower. I let the water run down until I snapped out of my thoughts and heard a knock at the door.

"Yes?"

"Honey Beau is here"

"Oh my gosh what time is it?!"

"It's 7 O'clock"

"Ok tell him I'm not ready, but I'll be down soon."

"Ok"

I got dried, put on my dress then cleaned my face, moisturized and put on makeup. I began blow drying my hair in my room when I heard my door open and close.

"Gosh why do girls always take so long to get ready?" I saw Beau smirking in the mirror In front of me.

"What are you doing in here?"

"Waiting for you"

"Ok go down stairs I'll be there in a minute."

He left and I finished doing my hair and curling it. Then I grabbed my handbag and went downstairs.

Beau was waiting on the couch playing with my brothers. It was actually really cute how he was with them. He was just like a father sorta.

"Ehm" I said trying to get his attention

"Oh I got to go guys sorry" he said to my brothers

"Ok bye" my brothers said in unison

"So are you ready?" he asked

"Yes let's go"

We got I to his car and drove off to Red Lobster. When we got there Beau asked for our seats and were quickly seated.

We had ordered our food and came 15 minutes later. I really didn't know what to say, I just don't know him anymore. It's been so many years that he has probably changed so much.

"So do you play high school soccer?" he asked snapping me out of my thoughts

"Uh...No I stopped playing after I moved away."

"Why?"

"I just didn't have the spirit to do it anymore, you were kinda my motivation to do it." I had to admit my feelings to him I really did miss him

"Oh....Im really sorry what happened back then I didn't mean to hurt you, I was really trying to protect you."

"That's enough Beau i'm tired of you saying you were trying to protect me, from what!!?"

"Stop raising your voice, your causing a seen" he whispered shouted

"Oh well I'm so sorry Beau I'm just curious why my best friend ditched me and hated me!!!"

I got up and ran out of the place. Tears were rushing down my face and I couldn't control them. I could hear Beau calling me the voice steed getting closer and closer, he was running after me. I took off my heals to run faster so he wouldn't catch up to me. But I was just to tired so I soon fall on the sidewalk.

"Why are you running away?" he said catching his breath

I couldn't even speak I was still crying and catching my breath at the same time.

He carried me to his car and drove me to my house. When we went inside house everybody was asleep. He carried me to my room and slipped me into more comfortable clothes. He was about to walk out when I spoke.

"Beau could you stay the night please?"

I was still slightly crying.

"Sure"
