Naruto's POV
I bolted up.
"Was that a dream!"
"Naruto it's freaking 5 in the morning!"
"Oh, sorry Sasuke..."
"Nah it's fine." Then he leaned over and pecked me on the nose. I immediately felt my face heat up.
"S-Sasuke!" I yelled and hid under the blanket.

Time passed by quickly with no particular differences in life, until one day Kurama told me that both mine and his chakra had been slowly depleting overtime. Over the last few months, he said that it wasn't really a problem until a week ago when the speed of the depletion quickened. I didn't think of it as a problem because I no longer have to go on missions, for me and Sasuke had been married for a few months, and I couldn't really see anyways. Sasuke had recently been sent on a long-term mission, and I had just at home cleaning. For short being a housewife.
More Time Skipssss
There was a sharp pain in my chest as I woke up from a nightmare. I quickly ran over to the bathroom.
*Coughing fit* I knew that I didn't have long. There was blood everywhere and from what I can sense things other than blood in the pool.
"Sasuk-" Then I fainted into the black darkness.
The next thing I knew I woke up in the hospital with all sorts of machines plugged into me.
"Grandma Tsunade... How long do I have?" I asked grimly.
"Kid- I... I'm sorry..."
"So how long?"
"The most a month..." Hm, I guess I can't talk to Sasuke for the last time.
"Naruto, I can call Sasuke back!"
"No don't it's an important mission, at least let him finish this last one."
"Naruto..."
The days went by fast as I slowly started to fade away. It's finally the last day of the month. Then all the sudden everyone that I probably ever knew at least all my friends came in the room, and if I'm not wrong I sensed Sasuke.
"Sasuke?" I whimpered close to crying.
"Everyone?"
"Naruto!" Everyone screamed.
"I appreciate everyone coming here." I whimpered and thanked everyone for coming to see me in my last moments. Then I felt Sasuke's hands.
"Sasuke I thought I told Tsunade to tell you that nothing was wrong."
"I saw through her lie. Naruto what happened?"
"Long term poison from the last attack." Then I felt it, the worst pain I've ever felt just all came rushing to me, I held it back with all my being.
Finally, I told Sasuke what I have only told him once at our wedding.
"Sasuke, I- I love you."
Third Person POV
Everyone broke down crying except for Sasuke.
"I love you too Naruto." The name that Sasuke never called Naruto.
The monitor's beep started to slow drastically. Everyone begged for Naruto to stay alive, but it was no use. Sasuke hung onto Naruto like his life depended on it. Naruto's fce was blank like he had just lost all life.
BEEP
Their words blended together until they held no meaning, like children clinging on to pointless hope.
BEEP
Naruto's lower body lost feeling and went numb, then he lost feeling to Sasuke's hands. Sasuke had stopped yelling and just brought NAruto's hands to his face.
"Sasuke you'll always have a piece of me with you." Naruto smiled the brightest smile that he has ever shown to anyone.
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
And that day Sasuke lost the sun he held onto for dear life, and every time he looked in the mirror or someone complimented his eyes, he would break down crying.
