Mackenzie

Tomorrow is the first day of school and I just want to say one thing before tomorrow.

I.

Am.

Not.

Ready.

Especially not being ready as the new kid.

Luckily, my twin and I are best friends, we do everything together, so I'll have atleast someone tomorrow. We decided to go out and figure out our route to school.

We walk around, followed the map on Miles phone until we found the school and my eyes widened just at the sight of it.

"Wow, it's huge." Miles says.

"Yeah. Damn, probably a bunch of people." I reply.

"Let's go, it's already eight." He says and nod.

We decided to take a different way home. We walk through a valley and let's just say it's dark.

I grip onto my brothers shoulder so I don't loose him. "Miles, take out your flashlight." Suddenly, we hear a noise.

Maybe medal dropping on concrete. Miles grabs my hand and squeezes it. I feel something on my ankle and then a pinch.

"Ow." Miles and I say at the same time. We both slap our ankles and I look up at him.

"Did you get bit by a misquote too?"

"Yeah, but we seriously should get home." I nod even thought he can barely see me.

"Hey mom, dad. Sorry we were out so long, we got lost." I lie. We actually took a different way which turned out to be longer than our first route.

"It's alright. All that matters is that you're home now." My mom says. "Your guys' food is on the island. Eat it before it gets cold." Basic mom thing to say.

Third Person

Kenzie eats her spaghetti, not aware of the spider who bit her stayed on her and was on her sleeve. The spider crawled out of the sleeve and made its way to her food. The spider was on the spaghetti but Kenzie didn't notice. She put her fork back into the food and put the food in her mouth.

She finishes and goes up to her room, not realizing she just ate a radioactive spider.

Kenzie

I open my eyes and see light beaming through my window. I stretch my arms and get up to eat.

I put my hand on my door knob and twist. I expect my hand to come off the door knob but it doesn't.

What? Are my hands sticky from something?

I try to pull again but nothing works. I frown and think.

"Miles!" I yell. I see his door open but he doesn't come out.

"Um, I'm kinda stuck." I hear him say. He moves so I can see him. "My hand is stuck to the door knob."

"So is mine." He looks at me with wide eyes.

"Maybe mom and dad pranked us." He suggested but I shake my head.

"When have they ever pranked us? Never and even if they would, why now?" He shrugs and relaxes.

Suddenly, his hand releases from the knob. I scrunch my eyebrows and do the same thing he did. I relax and my hand releases.
