Ode to Christmas
Oh, my great source of spirit and joy,
Time for presents with all sorts of toys.
I can never sleep the day before you come,
Santa always leaves a lot of crumbs.
I lay the plate of cookies and milk,
And sleep in my pjs made of silk.
Oh, Christmas you make me so happy,
I love making snowflakes that are really crafty.
But I wish it would snow,
It could happen, you never know!
I can't wait to hear the reindeer and Santa Claus,
The clicking and clacking as the reindeer pause
Good night Christmas Eve,
I wish you would never leave
I can't wait to see the gifts that my family and I will receive,
That are underneath our beautiful Christmas tree leaves.
