When I reach Crystal's room, I slowly open the door.As i see her genuine smile again, I smiled automatically.
Her face is full of peace.
After some time, I decided to go back to the venue and continue the program.
"So have you enjoyed your food? Shall we move to the next part of the program?" All of them agreed.
"Thank you for your long patience but we were sorry for saying this again, the debutant is not yet ready. But she wants to continue the program. She's still preparing right now but I promise in some couple of minutes w.. wi... will get here." I stuttered.
I can notice on their faces the disappointment about of what I've said. This is hard for me too, pretending that everything is okay, to convince them to not worry. I can't tell if i can do this up until the end.
"Let's move on to the giving of message for the debutant, the first one to give his message is her father, may I call on to Crystal's father, uncle Luis please come up on stage."
I look at the people and try to look for uncle Luis. Her father should be the first one to deliver a message but I think uncle Luis is not yet here. Auntie Sandra, Crystal's mother, keep on calling uncle Luis through her phone but based on auntie Sandra's face, her father is out of coverage.
So as the host of this program, I've decided that the first one to give a message is her mother. Auntie Sandra is on the stage now.
