"Hello everyone, for those who don't know me, I'm Crystal's mother. Honestly, my relationship to my daughter is not interesting and it's my fault. I spent too much time in my work so I didn't notice that my daughter needs me too."I'm at my school today, specifically, at principal's office. Earlier, the principal of our school is looking for me, they said that she wants to talk to me about something important. And she began to speak.
"Crystal Dela Fuente, I need to talk to your parents now."
"But w...why Miss?" I stuttered. "Have I done something against the rules or laws of this school?"
"Nothing Crystal, actually, it's about your poor performance in your class. One of your teachers talked to me earlier and said that your grades are kind of... uhm... compared to your grades last semester, it is now below average. You used to be one of the top students in this school. What happened to you Crystal?"
"Sorry Miss, it's just that, I can't focus with my studies right now because of some reasons."
"Reasons? How big those reasons are that your grades are also affected? I still need to talk to your parents. Call and tell them that I want to talk to them right now."
I step out of principal office to call my mother. I have no choice. Even if I know that my mother is busy with her work, I still need to try.
I dialed my mother's number, it's ringing, but no one answered, I'm not surprised anymore.
