Callie's POV:
Today, Arizona comes home. She's not the same yet. I'm hoping I can change that, if it's just us two. As I unlock the door, she jumps at the sound of the lock. "Arizona..." She shakes her head. As soon as the door opens, she runs in and lies under a blanket on the sofa. "Arizona..." She stares at the wall blankly. "It's Callie, okay? I'm going to look after you. I love you, Arizona." She turns her head. "Callie?" I nod. "I love Callie. She's very beautiful." I nod and smile. "Arizona, I'm Callie." She looks at me blankly for a moment, before smiling. "Callie?" I nod, smiling. "I love Callie." She repeats before standing up. "You're Callie?" I nod once more. She runs towards me, but stops abruptly when I throw my arms open. She crouches down, whispering "please don't hurt me" My eyes begin to water. I lie down on the floor, my head under her covered face. "Arizona, it's me, Callie." I can hear her whimpering faintly. "I'm not going to hurt you. I love you." Her voice wavers. "I, I love Callie." Wiping away my tears, I think. "I know you do. And I love you. Which is why you need to let go of your legs and come sit with me." She shakes her head, crying. She jumps up, hair flicking my face. She runs around the room frantically, screaming "Callie! I want Callie!" I jump up, and watch her run before following her. I throw my arms around her cold body, and she tries to break free. I tighten her closer, and she stops wriggling, but begins to sob quietly. I slide onto the floor, her resting in my arms. "Arizona, it's me. I'm Callie. I'm not going to hurt you. Because I love you so much. And I just want you back. I want my Arizona back." I sob, stroking the hair off her face. She gets up, and I follow. She looks directly at me. "Callie?" I nod, wiping away tears. She runs at me, grabbing me at the arms and sobs loudly. "I missed you" she groans. I cry at the thought that my Arizona was coming back. I hold her tightly, while she cries in my arms. "I love you Callie. I missed you so much." I rock her in my arms. "I know you do. I love you too..."
Wrapped up, so consumed by all this hurt
If you ask me, don't know where to start
Anger, love, confusion
Roads that go nowhere
I know there's somewhere better
'Cause you always take me there
Came to you with a broken faith
Gave me more than a hand to hold
Caught before I hit the ground
Tell me I'm safe, you've got me now
Would you take the wheel
If I lose control?
If I'm lying here
Will you take me home?
