Astrid's POV
I have been known by many names some call me Dragon master, others Dragon girl, Demon, and even Monster. But I wasn't always known by those names.
Astrid Hofferson the bravest girl on Berk. That is until, it came to Stormfly my best friend who just happened to be a deadly natter.
I don't was 15 when I shot her down and after that I don't know why but some reason I just couldn't hurt her. No matter what anyone else thought. I was going through dragon training at the time and even though I never hurt a single dragon I was chosen to kill the dragon. That was the night I left and I haven't looked back since. I was on my own for 2 years then Val found me and took me in.
I have changed a lot since I left my hair is now past my waist and I wear a mask when I go out to fly on missions. We go on missions to free dragons and when we are on missions I call her V and when I met her I wanted a new start so I told her my name was Ash that's what she has called me ever since and it has been 6 years since I saw the others I was 15 and now I'm 21 and I have questions that will probably never be answered like. How's Hiccup? How are my Mom and Dad? Do they still think about me? Has Berk changed since I left? I guess I'll never get any answers but little did I know what the future had in store for me.
