Remember That Night (Kian Lawley)

Chapter One Skylars POV

So, once I moved here I started to unpack and my mom knocks on my door. "Hey baby cakes" she says, "Hi mom" I say not very excited, "Stop unpacking, go out and explore the town", "Alright fine" I say grabbing my penny board. I walk through the kitchen and grab the twenty dollars off the counter. I plop my penny board on the drive way and ride around town. When I stop at Dunkin, I see this dude walk in before me. In my mind I'm like, wow he's cute, but I didn't say anything. I hop off my penny board and throw my long blonde hair into a high ponytail. I grab my penny board and walk into Dunkin, I order just a medium sweetened iced tea and realize that guy ordered the same thing. I go over and sit on one of the couches and he sits on the complete opposite side of me. "Hi, I haven't seen you around, are you new?" He says. "Ya" I respond, "the names Skylar by the way". "Cool name, I'm Kian, I'm surprised you didn't freak out and hug me." "Excuse me?" I say very confused. "You don't watch O2L?" "I have no idea what your talking about." He does this weird silent fist pump thing. "Good your not obsessed, I'm part of this YouTube group called O2L and a lot of girls are obsessed with us." "It's probably because I don't have an iPhone, I don't even have a tv." " Wow, how can you live?" " I'm not very sure, well" I look at my watch. "I better get going, see you around." "Wait!!!!" He screams as I've started walking out the door. "Give me your phone." I hand him my slide phone, I'm pretty sure he added his number. "Call me." He does this weird salute thing, then I wave goodbye.

Later that day, I head outside to see whoever my neighbors are (btw guys we are in a world where all of magcon lives in the same town) or if their nice. I go to the first house of the left, biggest house on the street, navy blue, wow, I knock on their door. This dude answers the door, he's actually kinda cute.

"Hi, I'm your new neighbor and I just wanted to come over and you know, say hi"

"Oh cool, at least a gorgeous girl like you moved next door to me. Oh ya, and my names Cameron, Cameron Dallas to be exact."

"Hi Cam, is that ok if I call you Cam? Anyway my names Skylar, Skylar Hernandez to be exact" I say in a mocking sarcastic voice

"It's fine if you call me Cam, I'm surprised your not a fan girl like everyone else in this town."

"Ya that's what Kian said"

"I see you've met Kian, so how do you like East Longmeadow so far?"

"It's pretty good" I say fixing my obey SnapBack I have on backwards."I better get going see you around"

"Bye" he says closing the door.

I'd rather not tell you about the next house, it was some cranky old man whining about the nice people who used to live in my house. I just turned and walked away.

-The next morning-

Skylars pov

When I wake up I check the time, wow, I say to myself, I slept in until 6:30, that's late considering I normally wake up at 5:00. I realize I forgot to call Kian. Dammit, I pick up my phone and call him. He doesn't answer so I leave a message, "Hey Kian it's Skylar, just calling cuz you to.d me to, so byeeee.". I hang up the phone. As I look at my closet, I realize I should probably get dressed. I take off my old lacrosse team jersey and search threw my closet for a shirt. I finally find a tank top that says "The Beatles" and put it on. I match it with a blue and white baseball or varsity jacket and a pare of acid wash jeans. I lace up my white converse, and look in the mirror. "Ugh" I say to myself."I look ratchet without makeup". I throw on some light eyeliner and butterfly mascara so my eyelashes look curled and long. I run a comb through my hair and call it good. Dammit I forgot. I grab my paddle brush just to make my straight blonde hair look even straighter and dunk my tips into the red cool aid I prepared last night. Ah much better. As I wait for my tips to dry I pull out my phone, noticing I have a text message I read it.

Kian: hi um can you meet me at Starbucks?

Me: sure, be there in a sec

I excitedly right a note to my mom saying I was going to Starbucks and grab my penny board. I quickly ride over to Starbucks, surprisingly knowing exactly where it is the hop off and pick up my penny board. I see Kian right outside the door waiting. "Hey" he says. "Hai" I respond "Why did you want me to come to Starbucks?" I say. "I just wanted to see that gorgeous face of yours again." He says and I get all blushy." Stop it you liar! I'm ugly as hell"
