Remember That Night (Kian Lawley)

Kians POV Chapter 10

I started driving over to this beach-side restaurant steak house called (out of my imagination) The Cow Jumped Over The Ocean. We found a parking spot in front of the door and headed inside.
"Hi, how may I help you?" Asked the very pretty, but not as pretty as Skylar, hostess.
"I have a reservation." I said while the hostess started flirting with me by twirling her hair.
"What's the name?" She giggled.
"Lawley" I said taking Skylar's hand as she blushed.
"Oh," the hostess said with the tone in her voice going down, "Right this way." She guided us to a seat outside looking over the ocean.
"Oh my god Kian, this is gorgeous!" Skylar squealed.
"Yup! I know!" I said puffing my chest.
"Oh stop it!" She said playfully slapping my arm.
"Okay, okay." I said.

We both ordered our drinks. She ordered the classic Shirley Temple and I got a plain old water with lemon. We both slurped down our drinks and we ordered our meal. It was obvious that our waiter was flirting with Skylar because he kept talking to her and then he would turn to me and his voice would change. Ugh people.

We finished our meals and both walked onto the beach.
"Let's go our separate ways and come back out with our suits on, kay?" I asked.
"okay! Be right back!" Skylar said cheerfully skipping into the restroom.
--Skylar's POV--
For some reason I was acting so much like a girl. Oh my god, that waiter was flirting with me and I HATED it! He gave me a piece of paper while Kian was using the men's room. It read:
How about ditching that loser and meet me at the back at 7:00. Bye babe xoxoxoxo. Call me at ***-***-****
He fucking called me babe. UGH THAT MAN WHORE! Anyway, I walked into the changing room and I put on my suit. When I walked out I saw kian in his swim trunks and his abs were H-O-T hot. I mean wow. I wanted to push him against the wall and eat his face, but that would be really weird and I wouldn't do that in public.

We grasped hands and walked to an empty spot on the beach. I layer out my towel, kicked off my sandals and sat down on the towel.

"Omg Kian, the sunset is amazing!" I squealed dazing into the sunset.

"I know it's, its, beautiful." He stuttered looking off to the sunset.

Then, some wacko advertising company had a plane drive by. Out of habit I read the sign:

Skylar would you make me the happiest guy in the world and be my girlfriend?

I looked over at Kian and he nodded.

"Oh my fucking God! Of course I will!" I squealed hugging him really tightly. He pulled away and our lips touched. It was like fireworks went off. Oh wait. They did. There was a fireworks show. Oh funny. We pulled away and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder while we watched the fireworks.

"Kian?" I asked.

"Ya Sky?" He said.

"I've liked you since we met. I just didn't know how to tell you." I said clasping my hands in front of my body and looking at the sand.

"Honestly Sky, so have I." He responded lifting my chin up with one finger.

"I love you KiKi." I said smiling.

"I love you too Sky." He returned with a smile.

At that moment, we both knew, that this was the night that would change everything.
