Shu watched as Ashton was drove off. Regret and disgust coursing through him.

"Damn that guy, right to hell." The albino thought glaring until he could no longer see the vehicle

He then looked down at his injured arm. Broken, misguided with a list of regret. That's all he got from this. Sure he had his friends and he was now on the road to recovery, but damn did everything prior suck.

"Hey, is anyone there?" A familiar voice asked

He looked up to be face to face and eye to eye with Free. Shu didn't know how longer he was there or if he said something, but for him to say that he obviously looked off or spaced out.

"Sorry, I was thinking about..... Everything." Shu sighed

"Not surprising." Free commented

Shu sighed and looked down again. A few memories flashed in his mind, and his body began lightly shaking. He was about to cry now.

Free could tell.

The dull eyed boy grabbed his uninjured arm and, pulled him towards the building where the bladers and stayed for the competition. Free lead him to his room where he sat him down on the bed. Then sat beside him.

"Let it out." Free said calmly

"I don't know what your talking... About." Shu said choking back a sob

Free just stared at him for a moment. Tears in the sides of his eyes, bitting his lip, his body shaking more and more as he tried to hold it in.

"I think you d-"

He was cut off by Shu breaking down. He would be lying if he it didn't make him jump a bit. It was sudden, and by how loud and hard his sobs were, it was long over due.

He wrapped his uninjured arm around him, and started rubbing his shoulder to comfort him. About five minutes later his sobs thined out enough for him to speak.

"I'm sorry. I-I'm not us-usually like this." Shu apologized through his lighter sobs

"It's fine. You've delt with some crappy things." Free assured

"The worst part is I know I'm guilty for letting this happen. None of this wouldn't have happen if I had just opened my eyes."

Free had no comment for that one. He didn't know the full story so he had no room to comment. A few more minutes and Shu's sobs had totally ceased. Now he was simply trying to stable his breath, while wiping the left over tears from his face.

"If I didn't hurt my arm I would give you an actual hug." Free said with a small smile

Shu laughed a little. He took one more deep breath then looked Free in the eyes.

"Thank you. I needed this way more than I'd like to admit." Shu smiled

"No problem. So what are going to do now that everything's said and done?" Free asked

"Well, something tells me the Raging bulls may need a new leader soon. Plus I think I still have a little more red eye in me, because I'm about to steal everything from Ashton. Call it my way of 'repaying' him." Shu's smile grew

"Striking while the iron's hot. Not bad."

The two left the room and ended up hanging out with each other all day. They were getting along better than either expected to. But hey, they weren't going to complain.

*Bonus*

"Has anyone seen Free?" Kris asked hopefully

"I saw him and that Shu guy earlier. They were just walking around talking. Actually looked like they were hitting it off." Silas answered with little to no interest in his voice

"What!! No way, I've gotta see this!!" Valt smiled like a child on Christmas morning and ran off to find the two

"Wait up!! I wanna see to!!" Honcho followed
