Exhaustion (Lui x Gabe)

Lui rubs his eyes as he walks into school. His eyes hurt a bit, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. However after 3 classes he began to waver. It was becoming difficult to function properly. He was having trouble paying attention. He had to physically force himself to speak at times. His body was starting to feel heavy. And to top it off his head was lightly pounding.

In the hallways he leans against a wall and closes his eyes.

"Hey, Lui. You okay?"

Lui opens his eyes and looks up to see Gabe.

"Yeah, just a little headache. I'll live." Lui responds then walks off

As the day goes on it becomes infinitely more difficult for Lui. He manages to force himself forward. But Lui is only human, so in the end he ended up caving. Falling asleep during his final class. No one was brave enough to wake him up. No one but Gabe that is. He shook Lui awake. The short male's purple eyes open a bit. Which is all he needed to see who disturbed his slumber. He focused on Gabe silent and frankly peaceful.

"You trained without sleep for several days again, right?" Gabe asks

Lui let's out a little grunt, which was his way of saying yes.

"Thought so. Come on I'll take you home." Gabe says, and kneels down

Lui stands up and hops on Gabe's back. He stands up, puting his arms behind his back and under Lui for support. He begins walking as Lui closes his eyes and lets out a yawn. Before Lui falls back to sleep he says something he'd never say while fully conscious.

"Thanks Gabe. I know I can be an ass, so I hope you know I care about you."

With that he falls back to unconsciousness, as Gabe smiles.
