It's been weird at work between Corey and Tyler. He hasn't been the same flirty, overprotective big homie he usually is towards Tyler. He barely speaks to her when they worked together, even though he still pretends to be her man when she got flirted with. Honestly it bothered Tyler how they could go from being close friends to just coworkers. Especially when she didn't know why, well she did but it wasn't her fault...mostly. She just wanted to go back to how things were before.

Tyler just finished ringing up her customer when she turned around huffing and crossed her arms. "So what's up with you?" Corey turned around and shrugged. "Who me? I'm cool." He grabbed a box of jeans and walked from behind the counter. Tyler scoffed because she knew he wasn't being truthful about how he felt. She followed him and stood on the side of him as he unpacked the box. "Forreal forreal, wassup Core?"

"Nothing, I'm good." Corey huffed and walked away towards the counter and grabbed the second box because the first box wasn't the right brand. He walked back over and tossed the box on top of the other one on the ground. Tyler knew he wasn't just annoyed at the box but at her also. "You sure?" She bumped his shoulder with hers playfully, but all he did back was look her over and shake his head like he was disappointed at her. "I said I was fucking good, I'm good."

Tyler was shocked because he never cussed at her before for anything and it hurt her feelings, but she wasn't about to show it though. "Fine, If you don't want to talk. We don't gotta talk. I was just trying to be a good friend." She pushed herself off the jeans table and headed back towards the cash wrap. "So he's your boyfriend or sum?" Tyler stopped in her tracks and turned back around. "Who?" She knew who he was talking about, but she wanted to be petty since he decided to yell at her. "You know ole boy... white."

"Not cool Core and no, not officially. Why?" Corey looked back at the jeans on the table to hide the smile on his face. He couldn't help but be happy that Tyler wasn't tied down to the clown he saw at the restaurant. Even though he was still jealous that he didn't have Tyler's attention like ole dude did. "No reason."

"Uh huh, then what happened at Charley's?" Tyler didn't know what happened that day. One moment she was flirting with Adrian, then playing around with Corey and suddenly Corey and Adrian was at each other throats about to fight. Corey tossed the jeans down that was in his hand on the table and looked up at Tyler. "I'm just looking out for you. I don't trust dude." A giant load fell off his shoulders, he finally told Tyler what was bothering him, well not the everything.

"I appreciate that, I really do but I can look out for myself and I like him Core. A lot." Corey was like her big brother always hovering around scaring off guys, except this time she needed him to back off before he messed things up with Adrian. "If you feel that way, then watch yo back." Corey closed the box was he was working on and turned his back. Tyler walked up to him, even though she was every bit of 5'6, and he was taller than her. "Are you threatening me?" She puffed out her chest and deepened her voice like she was the one looking down at him.

Corey could feel Tyler close behind him, he could smell her perfume that she always wore. The scent drove him crazy, did things to his body, made things uncomfortable because he couldn't do anything with these urges. If she wasn't so blind towards his feeling for her and so caught up in whoever that guy was to her, Corey would have turned around and scoped her in his arms and put her on the counter and kiss her soft lips into oblivion like he imagined so many times before. He assumed her lips were soft because not only did they look soft, she was always applying some sort of gloss or chap to her lips. Plenty of times he wanted to pull her hand away and lick the gloss off.

He turned around and bit his lip and looked down at Ty who was all in his personal space. "Nah and calm down. I'm just saying don't come to me when he hurt yo lil feeling." He shrugged and picked the box up and carried it with him to behind the register. "Wow, thanks for being such a good friend and being there for me if I ever fall down." Tyler pushed his shoulder as she followed behind him.
