With a stupid grin on her face, Lucy lay on her back on her bed, staring up at her ceiling. Tonight had just went so perfectly, she thought. She could remember her favourite moments with the two and she couldn't think of anything bad that happened on their date. The only thing that came close was when Lucy had gotten cold and both Erik and Bickslow had tried to give Lucy their coats but she ended up having to take Bickslow's coat after said man put it around Lucy himself. There was one moment in particular that she couldn't get out of her head.
Lucy had been walking around with the two men after they had finished their meals and left the restaurant. They were slowly making their way back to Lucy's house to spend some time together before the evening ended. There had been a comfortable silence between the three of them until Erik sparked up a conversation, "Have you enjoyed yourself today, Princess?" Lucy was starting to like the nickname Erik had given her, she could tell that there was no negativity behind it. To answer Erik's question, she nodded, "Yes, it's been one of the best days over these past few months." As she said this, she made a bold move to hold each of their hands. It was strange to feel such a difference between the two. Erik's hands were much more calloused and rough, but Bickslow's hand was bigger and almost completely encased her own.
Both of them had been very happy with Lucy's display of affection towards them and they smiled down at her. Hearing Lucy's reply, Bickslow interjected, "You're the best thing to happen to me in my life. I will forever be grateful that you gave us a chance to show you just how much we appreciate you." Tears prickled at the corners of Lucy's eyes as she listened to him. For once in her life, Lucy felt loved and she had felt a warm feeling her chest that she couldn't explain. Blushing, she opened her mouth but nothing came out, she was speechless. Seeing this, Bickslow and Erik had smiled before leaning down to give her a small kiss on the cheek, which made Lucy blush harder but smile.
Biting her lip, she thought about how much fun it was to just hang out with the two men and see a different side to them that she's never seen before. Everytime she remembered something that happened with the two men, Lucy could feel the same warm feeling in her chest. Could she really be starting to fall for these two? At the very least, she knew that she liked them and wanted to spend more time with them. She was unsure wether to label this as love just yet. It was quite late, considering they had all lost track of time and didn't see how dark it was getting. Almost reluctantly, Bickslow and Erik had left but not before Lucy gave them a kiss goodbye on the cheek.
Now, Lucy was tired and needed to change before she fell asleep in her dress. She had already taken off her heels when she came home so all she had to do was take off her dress and put it in her washing basket. Then, she took off her bra and put on a plain oversized shirt to sleep in. When she got into bed, she couldn't get the thought of how much better it would be to have two certain men joining her out of her head. Soon enough, Lucy fell asleep, dreaming of the two familiar faces that left her house minutes ago.

When Lucy awoke the next morning, she had been surprised to see that there was a lack of a certain pink haired Dragon Slayer in her bed. She had forgotten to lock her window so there was a bit of a mystery as to why Natsu didn't come. Although Lucy was grateful to have her own bed to herself, she was rather confused. Perhaps now that he knew about Lucy having mates, he would be more distant than before. Not wanting to overthink about it, Lucy got up and stretched, heading into her bathroom to take a shower. When she was finished, she felt much more awake and could feel herself being filled with energy to start the day. Deciding to head to the guild a little earlier than usual, Lucy quickly chose her outfit. It was quite hot outside, due to it being the start of summer. Lucy chose to put on a white bustier crop top and a pair of light blue, high waisted denim hot pants. In case it got colder during the day, she tied a jacket around her waist, on top of her belt that held her keys and whip. She quickly put on a pair of nude ankle strap wedge heels and tied her hair into two equal ponytails.
In no hurry, Lucy made her way to the guild. She didn't have any plans on what to do for the day and both Erik and Bickslow were going on missions today. Bickslow was going with the rest of the Thunder God Tribe while Erik was going on a mission with Kinana. Even though Erik would be with Kinana alone, Lucy didn't feel jealous because Kinana was part of her family and Lucy knew she would do anything like that. Lucy had been hoping that Levy would want to do something with her so that she wasn't bored. The only other option would be to go on a mission with team Natsu but Lucy didn't want to go without Erza, not knowing if she could handle the Gray and Natsu's constant fighting by herself. Soon enough, Lucy found herself outside the guild doors and she opened them to hear a familiar voice shouting. Filled with sudden excitement, Lucy headed straight to Erza and pulled her into a tight hug.
"You're back! I didn't think you would be home so soon." Erza wrapped her arms around Lucy in return and smiled, "It was nothing too difficult. Now, have I missed anything while I've been away?" Lucy froze as she heard those words. She didn't know if she should tell Erza straight away or not. On one hand, lying to Erza was never a good idea and would probably make her even more mad, but on the other hand, Lucy was scared that Erza wouldn't take the news so well and may stop talking to her. Seeing Lucy's hesitation, Erza raised her eyebrow, "What happened while I was gone Lucy?" Right now, Lucy wanted the ground to just eat her up so she didn't have to gave this conversation. Nervously, Lucy rocked back and forth on her feet, "Well, I may have found out that I am the mate to two people." Staring up at Erza, Lucy felt like she was a bug just waiting to be squashed by her.
Then suddenly all seriousness was gone from her face and she smirked, "Ah, so they finally told you. Maybe I should've left earlier if that it what was holding them back. It's nice to know you've accepted them, Lucy. You have such a good heart." Lucy was frozen onto her spot when Erza started talking. She knew. How? Why didn't she tell Lucy? As if Erza read her mind, she carried on, "Both Cobra and Bickslow came to me before I left, asking me for my permission to tell you about it. I was wary at first but decided it was okay." Lucy felt a bit uncomfortable with how calm Erza was being until something struck her. Why did they ask for permission? If Erza had said no then she wouldn't have known she was their mates and therefore, she never would have accepted them and they would eventually die from the pain of the rejection.
Lucy had been reading up on Dragon Slayer mates and Soul Mage mates as soon as she had been told and found that this was similar between the two. Feeling rather angry with the two men, Lucy wanted to go and bash their heads together but they were both, conveniently, on separate missions at the same time. Frowning slightly, Lucy decided to join the rest of Team Natsu on their usual table to talk about Erza's mission which ended up being a conversation about Erza bragging. Honestly, Lucy didn't mind it too much, she had missed the red haired girl, who had become a sort of big sister role in her life. Erik and Bickslow had no idea of the kind of trouble they were in when they came home. Lucy was furious.
