Chapter 10

Lucy woke up with a smile. Today, the whole guild was going to the beach together for a break. It was a sunny, hot day outside and to top everything off, there was no pink haired nuisance or his blue friend in her bed this morning. The blonde had been a little distracted in the morning as she recalled her dream. Yet again, Cobra and Bickslow had been the stars of her raunchy imagination. This time she had found herself in the shower when two visitors joined her. The image had been a little blurry in her head because she didn't know what they looked like naked. Unlike before, Cobra had been in front of Lucy while Bickslow was positioned behind her. Lucy blushed and pressed her thighs together to stop her need from growing. She hadn't woken up to stop the dream from progressing and had been brought out of her dream, full with desire. The girl had been tempted to touch herself but knew that Cobra's Dragon Slayer senses would tell him what she had done. Lucy didn't know if she could've handled the embarrassment so she resisted.

Feeling the need to cool down, Lucy went into her bathroom and turned on the shower. She stepped inside and bit her lip as she was brought back to her dream. Trying not to think about it, she was quick to wash her body, scrubbing a little harder than usual to keep her mind distracted. Lucy wrapped herself in a towel when she was done and stepped out into her adjoining bedroom. It looked to be very hot outside today so she didn't want to wear much clothing. Lucy put on her bikini underneath her dress. The bikini she had chosen to wear was a back bikini that had golden trims and the straps were all in golden material. The dress she wore over the top was a simple white floral sundress that had pink roses across it. Lucy brushed her hair and tied it into two pigtails with her fringe out. Humming softly to herself, she grabbed a pair of whit wedge strap heels to put on her feet. Looking through her drawers, Lucy realised that she didn't have any sunglasses but she did have a sun hat that she decided to wear. It was a light cream colour that had a black ribbon around it that tied into a small bow at the side. Lastly, she but her belt on with her keys by her side and left the house.

The blonde was almost skipping along the road to the guild, she was that excited. She just hoped that her guild weren't going to make too much of a mess when they were done. Seeing a few people outside the guild doors, Lucy was happy to know that she wasn't the first to arrive. She hadn't wanted to wait alone. As she got closer, she could see who was stood outside. There was; Mira, Levy, Gajeel, Pantherlily, Wendy, Carla, Romeo, Macao and Makarov. With a large smile on her face, Lucy walked up to Levy and gave her a hug, "Good morning Levy-Chan!" She received a tight hug in return, "Good morning to you too Lu-Chan, you look so pretty!" Blushing, Lucy twirled to show off her dress, "Thank you Levy-Chan, so do you!" Her petite friend was wearing a plain, pastel orange sundress with white sandals and her usual orange headband. Gajeel looked almost annoyed at Lucy as she stole his mate's attention from him. But since it was Lucy, one of his friends (even though he'd be reluctant to admit that), he didn't mind too much. Sensing that she was intruding a little, Lucy walked over to Mira.

"Good morning Mira!" The Strauss sibling smiled at Lucy and pulled the girl close to her. "So I saw you getting pretty close with your lover boys yesterday Lucy~ Could something be happening?~" Lucy's face could make a tomato jealous right now, with how hard she was blushing. The Celestial Mage bit her lip as she mumbled, "Maybe.." Covering her ears wasn't enough to drown out the sound of Mira's loud screech of joy. The white haired woman pulled Lucy to her chest, "I'm so happy for Lucy! Does this mean I can start planning you wedding?" Lucy opened her mouth to say no, but was cut off, "I can see it now, I know just what dress you'll be wearing to-" Lucy stopped listening as she watched Mira's eyes sparkle. Wedding planning and imagining people's babies were pretty much the only things that Mira loved to do 24/7. Forced to stand by Mira while waiting for the others to arrive, Lucy groaned and hoped that more people would show up soon. As if on command, Lucy spotted the Thunder God Tribe coming towards them. Trying not to get Mira's attention, Lucy slowly stepped to the side to get out of Mira's eye-line.

The girl turned to start walking towards where she thought Bickslow was when she crashed into a hard chest. Stumbling out apologies, Lucy places her hands on the person's chest to balance herself before looking up and seeing Bickslow right in front of her. She was speechless as she looked into Bickslow's eyes, they were so beautiful and Lucy didn't think she would ever get used to seeing them. She managed to squeak out a small, "Hello," before realising that Bickslow was shirtless and she still had her hands on his chest. Just before she was about to pull herself away, Bickslow decided to wrap his arms around Lucy's waist to keep her close to him. Smirking, he looked Lucy up and down, "You look beautiful Lucy." She could only blush and move one hand to tilt her sun hat down to cover her red face. "T-Thank you Bickslow." The Soul Mage chuckled but he really liked hearing Lucy say his name. He would like it even more if she was moaning his name but that was for later. They were both brought out of their small moment by the flashing of a camera to their right. They both stood to see Mira holding a camera, "Sorry but I had to save this moment." She squealed and walked away, checking over the photo. With Bickslow distracted, Lucy moved away from him, heavily blushing and keeping her head down.

Sighing to himself, he mentally cursed Mira for ruining his moment with Lucy. Gently taking Lucy's hand, he took her over to the rest of the Thunder God Tribe. Lucy didn't feel so awkward around them now that she knew Laxus was secretly a big softie (but she was still a little scared to tell him that). She knew that Evergreen was actually really nice, if not a little cocky. If her relationship with Elfman was something to go by, she was a total sweetheart. It made Lucy laugh sometimes when they both thought that they were doing a good job of keeping their relationship a secret but no one had the heart to tell them that they all knew. She was a little wary of Freed because he was quite the silent type and she hadn't been the given the chance to get to know him before. Lucy gave them all a small wave and smiled, "Hey guys, how are you?" She didn't know why she was suddenly so awkward, they were still her nakama after all. Lucy gasped as she looked over at Evergreen's outfit, "Ooh, I really like your dress, where did you get it?" This seemed to make Evergreen perk up and she eagerly stepped closer to Lucy to spark up a conversation on shopping. "Maybe we could go shopping together sometime?" The Celestial Mage wasn't sure how Evergreen was going to react to this but to Lucy's surprise, she was pulled into a tight hug, "That would be amazing! These guys never want to go shopping with me."

While the two girls were talking Laxus nudged Bickslow and grinned at him, "Looks like Blondie's warming up to you. You must be doing something good." Bickslow could only stare at Lucy with a love struck expression, that didn't go unnoticed by his two male teammates. Laxus laughed and shook his head, "You've got it bad." Again, Bickslow didn't say anything. He could only think about how beautiful Lucy looked in this light. A few more minutes past before everyone had had enough of waiting and made their way towards the beach. Lucy walked in between Bickslow and Evergreen, feeling comfortable around them both. The blonde noticed the absence of Cobra and wondered if he was going to meet up at the beach later. She also spotted Gray and Natsu bickering towards the back of the large group of Mages and Lucy groaned, rolling her eyes at them. She thought that by now, they would've learned to grow up and stop fighting with each other. Of course, it didn't help when most of the guild members cheered them on all the time. Shaking her head at the two men, Lucy turned back around and saw the beach ahead of them. She was so excited that she took off her heels and ran full speed down the sloped hill to get onto the sandy ground.

After watching Lucy do it, many of the others (mostly the girls) did it as well. Lucy was quick to find a spot that she really liked and she summoned Virgo to fetch her a towel and a beach umbrella as well as some sun cream. Letting out a small squeal, she laid down the towel and opened up the beach umbrella so that she didn't get the sun in her eyes. She was surprised when she saw the whole of the Thunder God Tribe make their way over to Lucy's spot.
