Chapter 71

*Velie POV*

(BTW this chapter is all spoilers. Unless youve read the manga. But ive definatly bent it a lot because well. This is one of the last chapters of this story)

I ran through the palace. "The first Devils escaping!" My blood father yelled. I kept running. I wasn't going to leave him catch me. I needed to get back to my kingdom. I got out the castle and ran on the bridge. Demons flying at me. "Demon Queen Magic: Devil of Chaos summon" I demanded. The demons all started to explode as I covered my eyes so I wouldn't have to watch. I didn't care if I was being covered in the demons blood. Just didn't want to watch the horror. I let Jiku lead me to the exit. And once there we busted out.

Once out I crashed into a wall. My back cracking but I was alright. Jiku disappeared and I opened my eyes. What I saw was completely horrifying. The kingdom was a mess. I saw a shadow palace in the sky. "No..." I whispered. I got up and flew quickly to look over the kingdom. I got to the palace and saw Julius.... Dead... Everything inside me shattered. I landed by him and I held my chest as it hurt so much. "Father" I said starting to cry. "No" I said as my body trembled. I dropped to my knees and hugged his dead body crying. "NO! NO! NOT YOU!" I screamed. I balled my eyes out trying my hardest to accept what happened. But I couldn't. It felt like my entire life was ripped from me. I looked perfect the destroyed kingdom. "I can let anything happen to his people... I can mourn later... I have to save everyone" I said.

I flew to the shadow palace and forced myself inside. I got inside and saw so much fighting. Possed people fighting with the humans who weren't possed against one thing. That devil. Yuno and Asta fighting the devil as the first ever wizard king and the real Licht helped protect the others. I knew I was freaking right about That poser who was obsessed with me. I saw him there. Seemed he had been turned into an dark elf. But someone must have brought him back somehow. I saw that devil. I didnt even let the spell name out. It was obvious I was gonna a fight this devil with all of my own. "Jiku... Mura... What kind of devil are we dealing with?" I asked. My first friend looked at me with a small sigh. "Sees you accired the Devil of Chaos" she mumbled. "Devil of Decay" Jiku mumbled back irritated. "answer me now" I ordered. "Its nothing you can handle Our queen" they said in sync. "Thats all I needed" I said. "I need to go all out right?" I asked. "Yes" the two said in sync again. May grimoire glowed brightly as I became one with Velvet. June and april by my side along with both my demons. "Those two are distracting the devil... And this is the thing that started this all... And got my father killed" I said darkly. "Velie" June said. "Your rage. If you unleash that. You'll take everyone out" April said. "No I won't... Beacause you four are getting everyone out of here" I ordered. The two Devils flew off as the two spirits turned human and followed. "I'm tired of holding in all my anger. All my pain and sadness. Velvet... Let's kill that thing and fix all of it wrongs" I said. "Of course. I wouldn't have it any other way" she replied.

The devil turned to my giant amount Of Mana. "Its magic can kill us easily" Velvet said. "No it can't... Not even Anti-magic was able to get past us in that state we were in" I said. "Your right. But it'll kill us" Velvet said. "Then we will need to do two things at once" I said. "Velvet. You need to be released. I need you to resurect the elfs. Give them their original body's back. It'll take forbidden magic but it can be done. I'll handle the demon" I said. "Vel-" she was cut off as I forced her out of my body. Half of me gone now. I looked at her and saw the gold hair and silevr eyes. The weird skin with symbols. I smiled. "Go" I said as I forced her to leave. There was only one exit for normal people. But I come from the Underworld. That Allows me to create many exits if I pleased. Now it was just me and the devil. The last time I saw Julius alive came to mind. Tears fell down my face. I held my hand out. Wanted to know what goes on? What my true colors were?

I never am going to forget what everybody taught me. I'll never be able to forget any of their faces. I could feel their fighting spirits with me.
William taught me what kindness was and how good it could make others feel.
Yuno taught me what trust can do and helped me realize that I should be like Asta and never give up.
Nozel taught me that even the most cold of people can have a soft side Under a mask.
The licht imposter taught me that even the bad guy has feelings.
Finally
Julius taught me the most important thing of all.
He taught me to love and cheerish others. Taught me to fight for what I believed in with all my heart. To protect others.

Fighting the devil in one last battle for me. And I was gonna fight with the true Velie. The me they created.

I was covered in blood red symbols and silver skin. My hair was blue and gold. I could see in the silver on my arms. My eyes were red and green. The barrier that surronded me burned up the Devils magic. I was taking the entire shadow palace down with me. I closed my eyes and Let it all out. I didn't let go of my sad smile.

Let me tell you how it ends for you who are reading this...

I didn't survive...

But I died killing the devil and saving my kingdom...
