Maddie's POV

I've been here before, in this airport waiting for Liv. It happened when she came back home for good. Who knew that in a years time she'll still want to live here. I missed her so much, when she was gone it was absolute chaos. I never been one for drama, but that was all that seemed to be happening with Liv gone. And now she's back and everything will go back to normal. Hopefully.

We've been in this airport for three hours, how long does it take to get back to Wisconsin from New York? Toby and Kaleb are getting impatient, and quite frankly so am I.

"Mom, can I go see when Liv's flight is gonna get here?" I ask

"Go ahead." she says "This is crazy anyway."

I walk up to those desks where those fancy airport people look like their actually doing work, but all they are really doing is buying shoes on JustFab.com. I tap the first desk open. The lady has long blonde hair and green contacts and her nails are long and exotic.

"Hello, excuse me." I say

"How may I help you." she replies in this bored tone

"I would like to know how much longer flight 360 was going to be."

"Flight 360 from New York?" she asks suddenly perking up

"Um yeah, I guess." I answer

"Honey, they didn't tell you?" she asks and I shake my head "Theres been a massive hurricane in New York and no one is allowed to leave or go anywhere until Mayor DiBlasio declares it safe."

"What!" I scream "But my sister! She was supposed to be on that plane! She was supposed to be on her way home now! She promised!"

"Just calm down, I'm sure-"

"Don't tell me to calm down! My sister is supposed to be here right now! There's a hurricane in New York and your telling me to calm down! Whats your problem! I'm calm! I'm completely calm!"

"What's going on over here?" dad asks

"There's a hurricane in New York and Liv isn't going to be home." I say defeated

"What!" mom exclaims "A hurricane! But my daughter-"

"Ma'am I understand that." the lady replies "But there's nothing any of us could do about it. So sit down, relax and let nature take its toll."

"Mom." I sigh "Can I go home, I don't feel like being here right now."

"Sure." mom says "I'll call you when Liv lands."

"Don't bother." I say "She probably will never get back."
