After walking up the stairs, being blocked from going any further by yet another door, they find their way into another room, where they find Futaba's Shadow.
Ann: ...Futaba-chan?!
Futaba: So you've come. Follow me.
She begins leading them down a corridor, but spikes pop out of the ground nearly kill them, but [Y/n] and Yusuke stop them before anything happens.
Ryuji: Holy shit! Is she tryin' to kill us or something?
Makoto: (pointing) Wait, look. There's some light up above. It's another one of those reflective boards.
Yusuke: Yes, but unless we can do something about this trap, we will not be able to proceed.
Ryuji: Ugh, what a pain in the ass!
Ann: So how'd you two know the trap was there?
[Y/n]: Suppose you could call it some sort of sixth sense. It's never happened before, though. It's probably just a fluke.

Eventually, after a bit of explanation and a few fights, the Thieves find themselves at yet another Anubis statue.
Ryuji: Yo, this statue's got a gem. We should take it, yeah?
[Y/n]: It worked out the last two times.
Ann: Hold on, there's an inscription on this stone slab here... "Any who attempt to steal this gem shall be cursed..." Uhhh...
Ryuji: Dude, we can't let this "curse" shit get to us, right? C'mon, let's just take it.
[Y/n]: I'm not so sure.
Akira: Let's just take it.
Akira grabs the gem. Nothing happens.
Ryuji: Sweet, we got it, let's go.
Deep Voice: A curse shall befall you!
Ignoring the warning, the group travels further in, coming to a long hallway. Before Akira can continue walking, [Y/n] grabs his shoulder and pulls him back. A bunch of arrows continuously fire from each side.
Ryuji: Whoa, that was too close!
Ann: It doesn't seem like this is gonna stop any time soon. Maybe that "curse" is real after all...
Ryuji: Ughhh, the hell're we supposed to do?! Goddammit!
[Y/n]: Well, let's think about this logically. I've watched Indiana Jones a few times, and there was a sequence at the beginning of the first movie where Indie had to run away from a rolling stone. This trap was triggered when the weight of the artifact he had taken changed to the weight of the bag of sand he had replaced it with. This trap could possibly be triggered by us removing the weight of the orb. If we put it back, maybe the trap will stop.
Makoto: Interesting theory, and it just might work.
[Y/n]: Hey, you guys say I watch too many movies, I say you guys don't watch enough.
The group heads back to the Anubis statue and [Y/n] replaces the gem in its hand.
Ryuji: Oooh, the atmosphere's kinda different in here now.
Yusuke: Could the "curse" perhaps have been lifted? We should check to see if anything has changed.
They head back where they had previously been and discover the arrows had stopped firing.
Makoto: Way to go, Adam.
[Y/n]: All in a day's work.
They move forward and find another button, very similar to the one that had activated the ballista earlier.
