There's beauty in communing with other Black Women.
A sort of spiritual awakening where all different shades of
Black Womanhood find company and laughter and solace
and strength and wisdom and guidance and shoulders to
cry on and hands to hold and drinks to share and memories
to take and moments to plan and successes to celebrate
and hardships to overcome. We know of a sweet pain that
has been etched into the fiber of our souls since
birth but we also know of a sweet deliverance that
only we can bring. For Black Women have always been
Champions. Have always been Fighters. Have always been
Caretakers. Have always been Mothers. And Sisters. And Daughters.
And Lovers. And Peace Keepers. And Mountain Movers. And Earth Shakers. And I thank God each day for having blessed me
With knowing such passionate people such
courageous Black Women who see boundaries
and laugh and then go about shattering them
in one foul swoop.- we are Incredible
