Chapter 6

Sabrina's POV 

"Here's what I want you to do Jason....." I said calmly. "I want you to leave me alone and never come near me again." I try to hold back my tears because even if I'm strong willed... but I can't stand it when others cry...  So what I did is that I get in my car and started my engine and left him in the parking lot. 

While driving home, I turned on my radio and the song that was playing was "What the Hell" by Avril Lavigne....and I turned the volume up...

I turned off the radio already. And parked my car inside the garage. I got out of the car and I noticed mom and dad's car isn't here. They always aren't  around because of work. My mom is a nurse  and my dad is a chef. My mom always take the late night shifts and the restaurant that my dad works in is always till midnight so basically I'm always alone here. I went upstairs and put my bag on the floor and I lie down on my bed, I love my soft and comfy bed.... I took a nap

*cellphone rings* 

I got woken up by my phone ringing at my ear, I picked it up and my eyes were still sleepy and I didn't get to see who was calling and I just answered the call. 

"Hello?..." while yawning and I cleared my throat. "Hello????"

"SAB!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!" as I remove my ear from my the screen of my phone. 

Ollie called me.

"FOR FUCK SAKES OLIVER FRED RODRIGUEZ!! PIPE DOWN!" shouting at the phone.  "What happened? And what's with the shouting?" putting the phone back to my ear. 

I can hear him inhale and exhales, I put my phone far away from ear once again... "I NEED YOUR HELP HERE IN THE PUB PLEASEEEEE!!!!! EMERGENCY" and the phone call drop just like that.... 

I changed clothes, now I'm wearing an indigo wash shrunken pullover hoodie and wore a cargo stylish pants. I hurried going downstairs, picked up my sling bag and my keys. I left a note on the table in case they come home early and even texted them that I'm going to Ollie's Pub. 

I locked all the doors and went out. I started the engine of my car. And drove going to his pub.

Oliver Fred Rodriguez has been my best friend since we were kindergarten and we never hide secrets from one another. We probably knew each other like a lot, which creeps out the others on how close we were and some thought we are actually a thing. But we are nothing like that. 

Oliver doesn't really owns "the Pub" he just co-owns it with his brother Uno. He helps run that place during night time and sometimes I get dragged in it because Uno's temper. He tends to yell a lot at other people due to the pressure of him being the owner. The Pub  is the bar that they own, it's a mix of night club and college bar. But it's not all about just drinks, you can also eat there since Ollie suggested there should be a restaurant in it too. That place is a three storey building, the first floor is for singing, dancing and drinking. While the second floor is for eating, it was Ollie's idea to separate the two, and the second floor is completely sound proof. And the third floor is for Uno and Ollie's office. 

I arrived at the place and parked my car. I went in front of the place. There was a lot of people waiting in line. But I didn't care. I just walked up front. 

"Hey lady! There's a line!" one guy shouted at me. 

"Stop..." a big arm stopped from entering the front door, it was the bouncer. "And who might you be?" he said and looked so serious.  And I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm just kidding!" he said and hugged me. "Hi mija".... and he lifted me up and I giggled. 

"Okay Tiyo Carlos you can put me down now!" and he did what I asked him to do and that's to put me down. Carlos was a bouncer here for years now and he treats me like a daughter. "How are you Tiyo Carlos?".... and I smiled.

"Everything is good and how about you mija? How was school? Got a new boyfriend?"...... He asked a lot about me every single time I visit, I cannot blame the guy, he never had any daughter just a son who looks like him and worked in the Pub as a barista. 

"Tiyo Carlos I'm doing good, I'm still the straight A student you know and no I don't have a boyfriend ever since Jason..." as I trailed off.. but still trying to smile. And he saw it but he just nodded and smiled.

"Mija I'm proud of you as always, you never let a man get in the way of your studies. But find room for love", he gently touches my nose and gave me the biggest smile. "Well you best be on your way inside we don't want Oliver and Uno getting mad again", and opens the door for me. And gave him a peck on the cheeks. "Gracias Tiyo". And the people were saying it wasn't fair, but Tiyo Carlos gave them a glare and puts there hands up as a sign of defeat. 

As I went, there are tons people inside and complaining about the live band not starting yet.  I looked around to find Ollie or Uno, and some guy bumped into me, I lost my balance I closed my eyes expecting I will hit the floor but someone caught in his arms before I hit the floor. 

I opened my eyes and stared into those dark grey eyes who saved me. I know those dark grey eyes and I heard him chuckle... Mason

"What is a young lady like you doing here?" he asked while helping me stand up straight. 

I took a step back from Mason, "Well I was looking for Ollie here and what are you doing here?", while looking around to see if Ollie is around here somewhere.

"I'm here to have fun with my friends", pointing their table on the corner and I can see girls with them. They wave at me and I reluctantly waved back. 

I just smiled at him.
