Chapter 3

I skipped happily to the dango shop.
Mainly because it is my first time eating dangos.

Or anything not food scraps,dead animals or medication for that matter.

I slowly padded my way to an empty table and took my orders.
Then I waited.

Out of pure boredom,I started scanning through the many faces of customers in the shop.

"Itachi~"

"Shut up Shisui."

Childish giggles came from the table next to me. I looked at them and saw 3 boys.

One of them was 3 years old,like me. The other 2 were 11 years old. One of them has long hair. The other one has short messy hair. The last one has his hair like a duckbutt. All of them has black hair and eyes. The one with long hair is a brother to the youngest one while the one with messy hair was a cousin.

They also wore their crest on their shirt openly.

"Uchihas." I spoke softly. "Perhaps not all of them are arrogant and weak like how imagined them to be."

The three of them stopped talking immediately.

Maybe I wasn't as soft as I thought? I'll try harder next time.

The youngest one turned to me and shouted "Hey! Not all Uchihas are arrogant! At least I know I can take you on any day of the week!"

...

How loud.

"Please do not shout." I paused as my dangos were placed on my table." This is a public area. You are being an annoyance."

"Ha! I know you are just too weak to challenge me!" He then pointed to himself . His brother embarrassingly tried to tell him to stop while his cousin was laughing away.

Weak...

" Ha ha ha! You scum! You are just like those disgusting rats you eat out of pure desperation. I like how rolling on the floor comes naturally to you as it only proves how weak you can be!" My father shrieked as he jeered at my skillfully dodging his whip.

Unintentionally,I let out a fragment of my suppressed bloodlust

My surroundings became tense and everyone froze in fear. The poor boy was shaking, his family shielded him and was looking at me warily. Their gaze was sharp, watching my every movement.

At that time, I realized what I was doing and quickly withdrew my bloodlust.

Seriously, today was such a bad day.

I heaved a sigh and left after I said,

"Watch what you say, boy. You never know when that mouth and pride of yours might attract trouble." I paused and continued," When you fall, there will be no one else to blame for your own incompetence and weakness but yourself."

I looked at everyone with me empty eyes before I left.
