Dean (POV)

The prison was running riot, there were convicts everywhere and I ran about trying to find Sammy or Castiel. I avoided all the police and security guards thankfully and hoped to God that Sam and Cas was doing the same. Then I remembered that Castiel was in isolation so I quickly turned on the spot and began running back from where I came from and little bit further towards the isolated cells. Suddenly a hand reached out and grabbed me, slamming me against one of the open cell doors. I came face to face with Crowley and struggled to get out of his grip.

"Where do you think you're going?" He snarled and I spat in his face. He loosened his grip slightly which gave me just enough time to wriggle myself out of his hold and start running again, trying to get as far away from the Demon leader as possible. I stopped at the large cells that only had a small window on the door and looked in them to try and find Castiel. The one at the end of the hallway was wide open and I realised that he must have somehow got out and was now trying to find me. I began running back and bumped into Balthazar along the way.

"Deano!” Come on, we are getting out of here!" He shouted but I shook my head.

"I need to find Cas and Sam." I called back

"Cas has already gone man; he got taken by his brother. Michael set this whole thing up to collect Luci, Gabe and Cas."

"He's gone?" I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at the skinny Englishman. He nodded sadly and I let out a breath of relief.

"Alright, but I still gotta find Sammy."

"I'll come with you." We both ran around the prison, quickly avoiding the guards by hiding in open cells and ran back to Sam's cell which was locked and had both him and his cellmate inside.

"Sammy!"

"Dean! Go, get out of here." He clutched onto the bars and gave me an understanding look. "Please, I'll be okay big brother, just go."

"I won't leave you!"

"When you get out, go to Gabriel and tell him I'm still in here. Maybe he will be able to do something about it." Sam shouted and there was a noise of policemen yelling down the hallways. "GO!"

I gave my little brother one last pathetic look before Balthazar grabbed me and we set off running down the hall and out the prison doors. There were policemen stationed at the entrance but Balthazar said he knew a way around them. We circled the prison and came into the courtyard which had prisoners climbing the fences. I was about to climb one as well but Balthazar grabbed me and shoved me to the far corner of the courtyard where I saw a small hole that could fit a whole person in, in the fence. We climbed through it and quickly started running in no particular direction, anything to just try and get out of the area.

It was later on in the evening so not many people were out and about. We tried not to attract too much attention but that was easier said than done when we were wearing bright orange prison jumpsuits. We decided to just break into a shop that sold men’s clothes and just take what we needed to blend in a little better. Luckily, I had some training with robbing stores like this and we both easier entered the place without triggering any alarms or attracting any attention. We grabbed a couple of clothes and slipped into them quickly before walking back out of the store and shutting the door as not to distract any attention. It just looked like we both worked there and was shutting it down for the night. I took a huge breath of relief and looked at Balthazar who smiled in victory.

“That was easy.”

“Don’t jinx it.” I roll my eyes at him and he chuckles lightly. “We need money.”
