"Why so happy?" Alex said looking at the excited couple.

"We'll tell you later" Martha said "hi John!"

"Hi Martha!" I said happily back as me and Alex walked upstairs.

As we walked into Alex' room I opened my mouth "wonder why they're so excited"

"Yeah I mean they have everything...but one thing...a kid..." He said as sat down on his bed and I sat down beside him.

"But they have you" I said with a smile.

"Yeah but I means real kid of their own..." he sighed softly.

'that kid...'

I accidentally put my hand on Alex' hand and I honestly didn't mind it. We sat there in the silence for a couple of minutes till he opened his mouth.

"Um...you know that day when I had my break down.." he said not looking at me. "You know when we where sitting in class and you where supposed to say something but you where being cut of by the bell......what where you gonna say?..."

'Shit'

"Um..yeah... I...." I said panicking a "little" bit. I got a message from Henry...shit..."I Uh have to go..hen-I mean father what's me back home... can we hang out another time?" Alex nodded.

(Alex' POV)

Wonder why he was panicking because he had to go home...eh..maybe he was having a good time..ehehe

As I walked down the stairs to meet Martha.

"Hey so what where you gonna tell me?..." I said looking at Martha.

"Oh yeah!" She said motioning for me to sit on the living room sofa. George walked in with a lot of papers.

He put them down on the table and said "read what it says"

My eyes widened. I felt happiness over some papers.

"You're adopting me!?" I hugged George tightly.

Both smiled happily and nodded and I can swear I saw Washington cry while hugging me.

Wow...I finally feel wanted...I have a family..

That's something I never thought I would say even once.

Look how lucky we are right now.

(Johns POV)

When I came home I could smell the liquor.

Where's Henry (brother)and James....?

"I'm home!" I said to see if anyone would react and I could hear small steps running down the stairs.

"Your home!!!" A small pair of arms wrapped around me.

"Yeah I am, James! Where's Henry?(jr)" I looked down at the small child.

"Um....in his room I think.." he said with a smile. I nodded.

"Let's go get him.."I said not wanting my brothers sleeping in their room that night.
