(Johns POV)

I slowly opened my eyes. I couldn't really detect where I was but it felt like I was in a car. Everything was spinning and blurred. Also I was very numb.

All I could see was two people...Alex and another person who had some green clothes on.

"W-What's happening..?" I asked, half mumbling. I tried to sit up but I was to dizzy.

"Sir, I need you to lay down" An unfamiliar voice said as I laid down I could hear Alex whispering:

"It's gonna be okay...he'll be fine..why did he do it...oh my god it's my fault.."

I don't know of he knew he said these thing out loud but I'll try to stay alive for him.

And I passed out.

The moment I opened my eyes I was met with Alex sleeping in one of the chairs and the whole squad plus Angelica was sitting/resting on either the floor or in those very uncomfortable couches.

I looked around the room. It hurt to move so I had to take it slow.

I was hooked up to a bunch of machines I don't know what they're called.

The room was very boring, the walls was just white and nothing really noticeable.

I looked over at the really basic clock that was hanging on the white wall.

It said 5:43 am

Wow...I never wake up at this time.

I sighed softly as I heard someone moving a bit.

"John..?" A familiar voice said. It was Alex.

He sat up a bit. "How are you feeling? Except the fact that you where about to..." he went quiet and looked down. "Why did you do it?.." he looked up at me. Even thought the room was very dark I could see that he was crying.

I felt the tears stinging. "I-I don't..uh..I.."

"It's fine....you don't need to talk about it yet." He looked at me with a small empathetic smile. "It's the best for us to sleep..." he looked down.

"Um..can I talk to you about something?.." I half mumbled.

"Yeah What is it?.." he looked up a bit worried.

As I opened my mouth Peggy had woken up and she was running up to "my" bed and slapped me.

"What the fuck where you doing!? You could've died!! What would I do if you died uh! Yeah that's right die too!" She half screamed waking up everyone.

"tais-toi! sa super putain tôt pour cette!" Laf whisper screamed back leaving everyone except me and Alex a question mark.

But when Lafayette spoke French you know it was serious.

Peggy just calmed down and apologized as she sat down beside me on the other side of Alex.

"Has anyone contacted mom or Henry...?" I looked around at everyone and they just gave me sad looks.

"Um..both where too..busy..and about Eleanor...um..she.." Angelica said with a bitter tone and then it switched to a mournful tone.

"W-What about my mother..." I heard the heart monitor start to go up.

"She..um..last night when you where still unconscious...your mom...she started seizing and her heart stopped and..um..they couldn't save her..I'm so sorry John..we all are.." she looked at me empathetic.

My mother dead

It felt like everything stopped.

The world stopped spinning.

I just lost my own mama.

"I-I like to be alone..p.please.." I said as I held in the tears.

"I don't think it's a good idea...Alex can stay at least.."Herc said with a tone I've never heard before.

I just nodded.

And as soon as they left I just started sobbing.

Alex sat down on the bed hugging me.

"It's gonna be okay.." he whispered.
