Gionna walked around backstage of NXT for the first time ever in his life as she had past the try outs along with Aaliyah who seemed excited about that night ahead of them. One thing Gionna didn't know what is that Brandon was there but people was calling him Angel which was strange to her cause he looked familiar to her when her and Aaliyah walked by him, Finn Bàlor, and Sami Zyan. "So you were checking out my bestie huh?" Aaliyah said with such giggling in his voice. "Huh, what do you mean Bestie?" Gionna replied in a confused voice. "That Angel guy that you stared at. You know the one with the long black and white two toned hair." Aaliyah said giggling as they reached the women's locker room. "What about Angel?" Gionna asked confused still by the fact she meantioned it. "Oh My God, G. You're such a blonde. That's Brandon." Aaliyah bluntly said giggling. "No that isn't there is no way he would ever let his hair grow out that long." Gionna replied shocked by her assumption as she entered the locker room. "Fine, you don't have to believe but dont be shock that the NXT champion knows your name." Aaliyah said as she walked in behide her happily wheeling their suitcases in. Meanwhile as Ashton is getting ready to cut a promo and speak about the new girls joining the roster tonight as he was hosting a women's battle royal as his theme played loudly around the arena
"Everyone please welcome. The NXT Champion, Angel!!!!!" Kayla Braxton announced to the crowd who started booing at the champion as he walked to the ring in his Greatest of all time shirt with a smirk on his face. "Cut my music." Angel said as he started his promo. "Alright so for the first time ever. I'm not taking the spotlight tonight, tonight is all about the new girls' first time ever." Angel spoke as he was shocked by the fact that the crowd actually cheered for the first time ever. "Well about dang time, you idoits actually cheered for me." Angel spoke with such laughter as he stood in the ring his title around his waist. "Now. Tonight we have five new women joining the roster. That consist of Liv Morgan, Aaliyah Grace, Asuka, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. So later tonight, we'll have a battle royal." Angel said as he left the ring going to his locker room
